  • Facebook beats by $0.04, beats on revenue [View news story]
I use FB daily, a lot. Always did, always will. Every day I can find new users added to my list of people I may know. Older people who have never used social medias before are massively adopting FB for its ease of use and capacity to shrink frontiers. Travellers are using FB to share their adventures with the world. FB has universal appeal that goes beyond race age or gender. A smart investor said that you should buy shares of products you like and use. I follow this advice when it comes to FB.

  • Why Analysts Expect Facebook Stock To Keep Going Higher [View article]
My relationship story with FB is similar to yours. Also I went for a spin around the world from January to March 2013' and for the first time I was able to keep in touch effortlessly with at least two dozens of fantastic people I met along the way. Even when traveling I was using FB several times a day, especially to upload my pictures and share my adventures. FB is an extraordinary way to keep in touch and is also now my main source of news. I wish I could get my Seeking Alpha updates through FB as well... Food for thought!

  • Why Analysts Expect Facebook Stock To Keep Going Higher [View article]
It's the Holiday season and a billion+ people will take advantage of well deserved free time and FB to catch up with friends and families around the world. Usage, posts and pictures related to these festive times will go through the roof. I predict that this quarter will be the most profitable in FB's history. Happy holidays everyone!

  • The Future Of Facebook In Numbers [View article]
Under Leigh Drogen's article Moon said this:
I suspect over 50% are duplicate and over 20% are seldom used.
    In this article moon says:
A quarter (25%) of their user base is probably phony...
That's a lot of inconsistent speculation Moon...which number do you prefer?

Two possibilities: Moon has purchased a lot of FB puts and is already losing a lot of money or he is paid to bash the stock. FB is only 25% above its IPO price. What's is so shocking about its stock price?Food for thought... In contrast TWTR is already almost 100% above IPO and I don't see profits coming from that company for a long time. As soon as I see weakness in its uptrend, I'll start shorting. Good day all....

  • Why Analysts Expect Facebook Stock To Keep Going Higher [View article]
Moon saying that 50% of FB accounts are duplicates is a gross exaggeration. I am sixty and I use FB everyday and when I have free time every hour. FB has been designed for adults and is used by adults. Last time I checked they were the demographic with the money. I though that when they would increase advertising it would annoy me but they've done it in a very subtle and ingenious way. I find myself scrolling sideways in the ad post every time there is something new. Long FB and enjoying it every day. I don't get the deal with twtr though and how can the price of that stock be higher than FB when they generate no profits. There is something fishy with this, like someone pumping the stock. I'll take a short position on TWTR very soon. Take care all!

Once again, FB was designed by adults for adults. Teens are not the big spenders.

It's hard to let go stocks with upside. Maybe convert some profit into FB shares.

  • Facebook's End Game And The Long Road Ahead [View article]
I bought at the IPO? Took all the ride down. Waited. Came all the way back. Pocketed some profits and I'm ready to do this ride again if needs be and millions of small investors will do to. FB's potential goes beyond mere profits. In this race to connect the world they do it better than anyone else because they care about the user's experience. FB itself is the first beneficiary of metadata accumulated and use it to model their evolution to one big giant connected world. That's the future my friend and your brilliant article shows that you've just realized this. BTW they shouldn't mess with hardware or BB for that matter that's not where the money is and there's too much competition. The personal data is where the money is.
