Mr DSX you fail to mention what DSX has is long term charters at below market prices and the only thing keeping DSX out there is the heavy dividend they are shelling out to bleed the company's cash flow. I guarantee you that DSX's ships are not free either while DRYS will have paid off their ships in the next couple of years. Agreeing with you that the Driller diversification was a shock to the stock but have you seen the daily rates for the two rigs out there they make the Spot Price of Dry shipping look like "Chump Change". The earnings for FY 2008 for DRYS are as guaranteed as your DSX and have the potential to be MUCH higher when (not if) the BDI moves higher which can not be said for DSX with their fixed long term charters.
