I am a Law Student with a background in Political Science. I first became interested in investing in 5th grade when I started reading the business section of the paper and randomly chose a stock that I decided I wanted to purchase. I chose the stock only because it was just beneath Microsoft in the daily local ticker, but it soon went from $6 per share to $68 per share. While this is clearly no way to invest, it peaked my interest and without that lucky instance I probably wouldn't be where I am today. I made my first real trade when I was a sophomore in high school and haven't looked back since. I went on to co-found the first student funded investment club at my University. I pride myself on having never taken a loss on any trade, even during the market downturn. This is also something I am working on correcting, as it probably causes me to miss out on some opportunities. Before investing or commenting on a company I will spend several months researching it until I feel that I truly understand the business and the market it operates in. Thanks for reading my article, together we will become better investors.
