    Stopped reading after that. With 'VIX' in your title one would assume that you track the $VXX. Juxtapose the $VXX and $SPY hourly charts from Friday and explain to me how two ETFs that inherently diverge were rising concurrently, while also trying to justify the quote I posted.

    Please go and look at what a better than expected GDP percentage did to the markets a couple of weeks ago. People are selling if they even dream the word taper (remember back in June?).

    This was a well written article; however it did not possess a finding worth our time. 1.87% is so inconsequential for the $VIX that it need not be accounted for.

    an interesting note from the release:

    "Voting for the FOMC monetary policy action were: Ben S. Bernanke, ... and Janet L. Yellen."

    I guess we now know for sure where we are heading.
