  • Workday -8% on in-line guidance, slower unearned revenue growth [View news story]
CRM is 15 years old. How long does it take the "deferred revenue" to make them profitable? All SaaS cloud business platform companies are not or barely profitable. Many are mature companies and not startups. That tells you something is seriously wrong with this business model and it is only being held up by investors throwing easy money at them. Once the investor money dries up for this sector, they will start dropping out one by one. If they are lucky they will get bought at a substantially lower price than the current market cap before going bankrupt.

  • Rally time again for restaurant IPO high-flyers [View news story]
This is beyond ridiculous. A burger joint priced 22 times earnings. A restaurant chain priced like a .com stock of 1999. You must want to lose money if you're planning on investing in this and sitting on it a while. This stock is in daytrader territory.

So let me get this straight. Very best case scenario is that by the year 2020, This drug will pull in 4 billion year. Currently their yearly revenue is 600 million. They are valued at 30 billion and there are billions in the hole in the years of constant losses. So even if the pie in the sky greatest wonderful scenario happens. 30 billion market cap???

  • How Tesla's New Powerwall Battery Will Save Consumers Money On Electricity [View article]
I did the calculations for my own home and there is no way I would be saving money for at least 20 to 30 years. By then I would have to buy new one.

The common consumer could care less. If Tesla wants to live up to its valuation, it needs to attract the common consumer by being cheaper, better and more convenient than current methods.

  • The Silliness Of Tesla's 10kWh Back-Up Battery [View article]
After solar panel costs and this that would put me out maybe 30,000 bucks on average for the size of my home. I pay an average 100 dollars a month in electricity (I'm not a utility hog).
So I would have to wait almost 30 years to pay for it? Umm, no.

The is absolute living proof that the leader of the next great big thing can still have its stock smashed into the ground and valuations fall back to reality. Although I'm a little surprised that it crashed while the easy money is still flowing.
Watch out Netflix, Tesla, Amazon, Salesforce etc, your next.
