  • Dispelling The Misnomers On Twitter [View article]
March 2013 Stone Fox article -

"Though investors cheer the surging revenue, the company has failed to increase the earnings per share over the last 3 years. In fact, outside of the fourth quarter of the last couple of years, Facebook has yet to report an EPS greater than $0.12. All of the additional revenue has come at a cost that matches the revenue generation. By attracting customers to a free service, Facebook continues to struggle with monetizing those users in an increasing profitable manner"

    Another quote from Stone Fox-

Facebook remains the ultimate short as a lot of investors and the media (note the two interviews last week) continue to focus on the growth of the user base. When will it hit 2B users? How about 5B users? The real question is whether it can keep the first billion users that are already abandoning the social network for other networks such as Instagram and Twitter.

People, you're arguing with a guy (Stone Fox) who has zero insight on social media, and how it relates to stocks. For instance, here's some of his predictions on FB throughout the years.

The opening paragraph from a Stone Fox article in July 2012-
"Quick, name a mega cap stock with declining usage and trading at 32x forward earnings estimates. Don't research too long and hard, as such stocks don't exist outside the magical world of Facebook"

Stone Fox, you should publish this on your website, so your investors (Mom & Dad) can see how much money they've lost with your sage advice.

It's Groundhog Day at Seeking Alpha. You should just copy and paste your articles regarding FB. Do your clients realize they could have doubled their money in the same timeframe that you've been shorting the stock?

  • The Road To Facebook At $100 [View article]

It humors me how you continue to post comments about your "analysis/theory" of Facebook's stock price. You told us it would be at $20 by the end of April, then you moved it to $40 by the end of the year. You clearly have no luck in guessing their stock price, because that's exactly what your analysis is, a guess. If i had taken your advice back in September i would have lost 40% of the value in my investment.

I think God would love the billion plus dollars in charity that Mark Z has personally contributed, and he will strike down any man who gets in the way of Mark Z's contributions. That's why FB cannot be stopped.

  • Facebook: A P/E Of 95 And Cheap At The Price? [View article]
This whole idea about insider selling is somewhat silly. The market is irrational, hence the recent FB blowout quarter and a 9% decrease in the stock. Why would you expect Sandberg to invest her money in a different way then you or I, should she not diversify?

I also have a hunch she may be funding parts of Survey Monkey (husband CEO) with this money as I noticed there's a nice new office building in downtown Palo Alto with their name on it. Survey Monkey would be a great purchase for FB.

I respect your opinion, but I can't see how Yahoo is better positioned then FB considering their both reliant on ad dollars, and FB is dominating the mobile ad world. It's not about whose stock is overvalued or undervalued, it's about whose getting the ad dollars.

    Guy in Ithaca,

The market values Yahoos core business at below zero. It doesn't matter if you think a stock is overvalued or undervalued. The market will dictate the price. I have friends that haven't had to work in over 15 years, because of the overvalued AOL Time Warner stock they sold before the crash. It's timing Ithaca.

  • Facebook's Monetization Sees A Bigger Jump In Q1 2014 [View article]

I already know that you have no real data to show that Google ads are better then FB. It's actually the opposite, which is why Google is losing their ad market share to FB. Or is the data that's reported just lies, and you actually have all of the knowledge?

You'll notice that i don't comment about the stock price, because it's somewhat irrelevant to the intrinsic value of the company. I will however contest most of the information you profess about the value of FB ads, because it's based mostly on your personal opinion, which has very little value.

He actually did buy the four house next to his home for an inflated price, and is letting the previous owners live there rent free. He and his wife are also funding the construction of a new family health clinic in Ravenswood / East Palo Alto, which will serve low income families in the area. He also pays the salary of a police officer in Menlo Park who's job it is to work with young kids and teens. He also goes to speak with young kids at a low income middle school down the road from their headquarters. He also teaches an entrepreneurial class for high schools kids. What a loser this guy is. I wish we could all be like Sharpe Spectator.
