  • Oil Is Up Due to Fundamentals, Not Speculation [View article]
Good call, Harus. This stinks of manipulation, blind greed, and collusion. I suspect the speculators that are driving the exploding prices we are now seeing are the same people also shorting for the future implosion. So they make money on the way up and on the way down. The fools coming in late and thinking "it's different this time" will lose all their money. I think I'll just sit this bubble out as I've managed to catch the last couple...:)

  • Will Apple Be Dragged Kicking and Screaming to the Business Market? [View article]
Dude, you could have gotten a Dell. But instead, you chose wisely. The most astonishing things about this revolution are that AAPL has somehow managed to successfully reinvent the retail world (where thousands of other so-called retail specialists have miserably failed) and taken the cell phone business by a storm (where everyone said that the cut-throat world of low margins, carrier relationships, etc., made successful entry by a newcomer highly improbable). Unbelievable. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Mac numbers are exploding. It's a good time to be long, long AAPL, my friends.

  • Apple: Taking Some Chips Off the Table at Current Prices [View article]
Yeah, that's right, sell it all, chump. I wasn't able to buy enough at $120 and dream that it might go back down there in the next few weeks so I can load up. So help me out and dump this stock NOW! AAPL will be at $250 by September...they have product, not just a Web facade...that the world hungers for - just like oil, but it's really cool stuff and not controlled by crazy, two-bit thugs in lousy places.

  • Research in Motion Unfazed by Apple [View article]
RIMMjob gets one more quarter...maybe two at the outside...where they can talk big growth. Then they are toast...just like other famous mailmen...like Cliff Clavin and Newman!! The stock price has factored in a growth rate that they won't see in 2009, mostly because of the iPhone. Sell while you can, certainly before June.

  • An Extra $100 For An All-You-Can-Listen-To iPod? [View article]
Exactly, Thomas. You're one of the few on these blogs who has apparently actually been in an AAPL store. As I've been saying for a few weeks now, when the commodity bubble implodes, people will come screaming back to AAPL. Commodities are falling hard, at least today....if it continues, big money will start moving back to the solid growth companies. And if the AAPL computer sales are as robust as being speculated, we may see the perfect storm of investor excitement in a month or so! Remember, the next really big things....the 3G phone and iPhone in China by the Olympics!!

  • Apple: Next Leg Up Will Be From Enterprise Accounts [View article]
This will happen, but it will be a long, drawn-out, slugfest. AAPL products are good, but let's not underestimate bureaucratic entrenchment. Haven't we all encountered some IT droid for which this type of change, regardless of improvement experience, is just too hard?? That's why it has to be demanded by influential managers who want to use the best tools possible and will force the IT guys to yield.

  • iPhone to Create Earnings Bonanza for Apple [View article]
oh, and remember, iphone agreement with carrier in china before the olympics!!! at least that's my guess. but, hey, i'm not a paid analyst - just a little guy investor. that alone will cause a $25 bounce in the stock price when announced, as well it should. nothing like the smell of hot AAPLpie in the morning!!

  • iPhone to Create Earnings Bonanza for Apple [View article]
wow, using math and making what appear to be reasonable assumptions rather than getting data from the 3rd stall on the right at an airport restroom and spinning it negative. not sure I can deal with that early on a monday morning. i mean, it's still too early right now to even use caps! i've also been steadily building my position and will enjoy the upswing, panicked short coverers, analysts flip-flopping, and other assorted malcontents having to eat crow. plus, a recent article that apple stores are now hot social meet-up sites. sweet. does it get any better? well, maybe $250 would be nice. fun week, everyone. shareholders meeting and media event against the backdrop of global financial system meltdown. oh my!

  • Does Wall Street Properly Value Google/Apple Brand Loyalty? [View article]
the point is.....if people think "Apple First" when shopping, it's a huge multiplier for the entire product line. that's the sort of synergy even little guy investors like me can understand. what I don't understand is this 120 to 130 range we are trading in recently...couple of days to 130 then right back down to 120 in a few days. someone is driving it. don't know if the event next Thursday will pop us out of the funk. if it's light on info re: 3G phone, new partners, limited on email sync, and a delay on the SDK it might get pushed DOWN. i still think (dream) there will be big news sometime in the next few months with a break-through in China before the Olympics. man, even I could make those commercials!
