  • Bullish On Financials: Is The Big Bank Pullback Done? [View article]
I am still confident BAC has a lot more upside. I am holding 2015 calls at $15 and pretty confident in that bet.

  • More Downside Than Upside With These 3 'Safe' Stocks [View article]
I am not going to sell WM. May not be a growth stock but for the dividend and barriers for new competitors, I feel that I can sleep pretty comfortably with some money in WM. Recycling and trash to energy type of technology will be increasingly important in years to come as well.

Good article. I know it's a hybrid but NCT has been my best performing holding by far and in my opinion will only get better after the spinoff..

I would like to ad PM and/or MO to my portfolio but it is the one sector that I will not put any investment into for moral reasons but it kills me that they seem to be good investments!

  • Ford Doubles Down On Its Dividend - But Is It A Smart Buy? [View article]
I agree F is on sale as of now. I have bet on that with JAN14 calls @ $15. There is a lot of upside from here. With this dividend increase I may actually consider making it a long position down the line. I like to see American companies do well and I have to say that Ford has done an amazing job improving the quality of their new vehicles. Has anybody driven the new Ford Taurus SHO's? I did and I was very impressed with the quality of the car all around.

Mketrent55, I am sorry to say, but comments like that are what I expect to see on Yahoo message boards, not on SA.

  • Why It's Time To Sell McDonald's Shares Now And Buy On The Next Major Pullback [View article]
I agree. That is how I play it with the stocks I am long as they all pay dividends. Hold and accumulate more on dips. Brokers WANT you to be the kind of person that buys and sells a lot. Keeps you broke and them rich.

  • 4 Stocks With Significant Short Interest For Good Reasons [View article]
Ouch on the put option analysis...

I'll give you some credit though, I also believe GME is and will be slowly dying until its demise. I don't short stocks but if I did, GME & RIM would be my two favorite.

  • 5 Stocks To Buy With Reasons To Rally And Room To Run [View article]
I have long option positions already up a good deal on BAC, SIRI, & F, well my SIRI and BAC options are.My BAC options are for 2015 @ $15.00 and I plan to hold and maybe exercise later for a long position. However, with SIRI I am starting to feel like it isn't going too much higher anytime soon but who knows. Still a lot of speculation about buybacks and Liberty's plans but it has had such a nice run. Knowing when to take profits is an area I have trouble with as a novice investor.

I am also long VZ & T. With potential growth in telecom being so huge I see no reason to only stick with one unlike some utility sectors where I have a stock like SO for dividends and have no interest in buy any shares of competitors.

  • How To Turn FedEx Rent Checks Into 21 Years Of Durable Dividends That Pay 5.6% [View article]
Great article. I have enjoyed all of your REIT articles. I am new to REIT's and investing and I started to think I was investing in too many. I have been adding to O and NCT, and NCT will be splitting in to two which I plan to keep. I also hold shares of WM which is rumored to be going REIT. As opposed to traditional stocks, am I carrying more risk having so many REIT's? I only have 11 holdings. I guess I have to go do some research on how they have performed next to traditional stocks.

  • More from Berkowitz: The book value of Bank of America (BAC) should double over the next 3-4 years, he tells Bloomberg. If the valuation - currently at just over 0.5x book - moves to just a modest slightly-above book, the stock's a 4-bagger. There's a growth story here as well, he says. Should the GSEs wind down, banks and insurers like AIG are poised to grab the business. [View news story]
    I agree. I am loaded up on 2015 calls @ $15
