Microsoft: Plotting an Acquisition or Joint Venture?

MSFT is always planning joint ventures and acquisitions. I think it's why they have such a range bound stock (see chart here tinyurl.com/qm6x77 ) They have so much going on that it's hard to get a handle on what it's all worth.
