Declining inventory is positive in my opinion. It show management knows what they are doing. Based on the graphs alone it looks like there will be higher sales growth and lower inventory. I don't think it's fair to attack or draw inferences on Greenspan based on a single interview. His core arguments for the topics above are fully explained in his book.
