Bloomberg Comes Down Hard on Goldman http://seekingalpha.com/article/148300-bloomberg-comes-down-hard-on-goldman?source=feed#comment-584430 584430
We have banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, market makers etc. that manipulate the markets and yet those that oversee the markets give these institutions special privlidges, advantages and do nothing to help the average investor.

Then we have the situation where Congress helps those who don't pay their bills, their mortgages and commit fraud however law abiding honest individuals have to pay for the problems of those in trouble.

Then there's the situation where Congress bailed out public cos. including banks and now the banks are repaying us with no acess to credit/loans, higher interest rates etc. It was so obvious from the beginning the public companies should have be left alone to fail and the stronger companies would have taken them over.

We have useless people running the counrty that are looking only out for themselves.]]>

Why Healthy Banks Shouldn't Repay TARP Funds http://seekingalpha.com/article/128564-why-healthy-banks-shouldn-t-repay-tarp-funds?source=feed#comment-445975 445975
"Alternatively, one could argue that Goldman is taking its **AIG** proceeds to buy back TARP preferreds. I know that their CFO said they didn't need the AIG bailout given their hedges. At the risk of sounding like Maxine Waters, Blankfein (current CEO) reportedly advised Paulson (prior CEO) during the AIG bailout process. To avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest, perhaps Goldman should voluntarily disgorge its AIG hedge profits since the government made them whole on their contracts (based on Blankfein's counsel)."

"Goldman is now a bank holding company **but I see little evidence of a stable deposit base or other implementation of a bank holding company business plan. ** "

Bingo! Follow the stars (**).

In my opinion:
Paulson worked for Goldman who created some of the the exotic instruments that caused the market crash. He made sure AIG received TARP payments so his buddies at Goldman would benefit. He and his cronies came up with the Bank Holding company senario so Goldman could get the TARP money. Now that the Government says there can be no big bonuses, Goldman all of a sudden doesn't need the TARP money. Hello! Is anybody home!!

Hey, I'm no genious, but if I can see what appears to be going on here why doesn't the Government see what's going on.

Paulson and his cronies and other people and businesses who created these exotic instruments (derivatives, CDO's) or whatever, which caused the destruction of the American economy and economies around the world, should be made to pay back their profits, be fined and be put in jail. Do Not Pass Go, Go Directly To Jail!

Hey, I'm just an average American Taxpayer, what do I know! Talk about being greedy and fraud!]]>

Now lets look at the former Treasury secretay, Paulson. He and his cronies at Goldman Sach's came up with the idea to become bank holding companies so they can get TARP and other government funds. What a bunch of criminals. Didn't Paulson help create the financial instruments that are now destroying America, why isn't he and others like him in jail.

Apple still tops the ACSI’s customer satisfaction survey — ten points higher than closest competitor, and yet your article starts out saying Apple is bad to the core and here you contradict your own article with documentation that Apple has great customer satisfaction rates, would the satisfaction rate be high if Apple had serious problems.

As a prior person stated Apples problems wil eventually be solved.

Another thought. Apples march quarter reported $1.16 however if you include the deferred income Apple's earnings would have been $1.45, approximately 25% higher. Those who complain about Apples high PE should consider the deferred income when calculating the PE for Apple which would yeild a much lower PE.

Apple's Been iSued http://seekingalpha.com/article/92039-apple-s-been-isued?source=feed#comment-235795 235795 "There are lots of people reporting on the spotty iPhone 3G reception issues and according to Barron’s it looks like the BlackBerry Bold may be experiencing those same 3G reception issues. The Bold is available only in a couple countries at the moment and isn’t yet available here in the U.S. so there is the possibility that the Bold’s software will be updated prior to the release.

According to the Citigroup analyst, the Bold does have an amazing display and updated BlackBerry software that adds HTML email and a better web browser. But the 4.5 software update (the Bold runs version 4.6) is available for some current devices and will be widely released for other devices and adds the HTML email, better browser, and video recording capability so there may not be a compelling reason to upgrade. I use my EDGE-enabled BlackBerry Curve and the Opera Mini browser and new BB 4.5 browser works quite well without 3G. In truth, I hardly notice that 3G is not supported on the device since email also seems very snappy. I tested the Sprint BlackBerry Curve and am not sold that 3G data is a compelling feature on a BlackBerry. 3G is a vital feature for phone calls though since you can answer a call even if you have an active data connection.

I haven’t seen a definite release date for the BlackBerry Curve on the AT&T network and the reported issues with the 3G radio may be delaying the release. There were reports that the Infineon chip was a possible cause of the problem. My search results indicate the BlackBerry Bold uses the Marvell Tavor platform for 3G so the problem with the iPhone may be on the software side, which means it can be fixed by Apple. ."
