      eBay Is a Losing Bid - Barron's
The point being, I forgot to add, that ebay has boobytrapped their own FUTURE in the next generation of buyers. That circle above that I mentioned all have or are going to have children and are very vocal in their refusal to have any part of ebay and Paypal again.

Isn't it great! I really do think that is something nobody even thought of. But that seems to be par for the course for feebay. Like you, I have gotten friends and family to stop using feebay and switch to online payment methods that do not include preypal. I even make it a point to bring it up in casual conversations with aquantances and "teach" them about the evil of feebay and preypal.
I love the trickle down effect. I have a nephew who has a son. A son who will now NOT be brought up thinking feebay is a good place to buy.

Where to start? I don't really feel like going into all the reasons that feebay will be nothing but a blip on the radar in the (hopefully) near future as that would take hours of my time. but I will tell you a few things investers. For one, feebay would be even more pathetic if they weren't padding their numbers. You might want to look into that. Feebay grossly underestimated the (HATE) factor and HATE it is. They were built on the sweat and tears of it's sellers and now they throw them to the side. Fine, that happens. But, many sellers were there best buyers and now there is no way in He** that feebay will ever see another cent from them. Not even through preypal.
Now lets look at it as a buyer. Hate it!!!!!! I am sick and tired of looking for something and getting nothing but what feebay wants me to see which is often irrelevant to what I was looking for. How do they think they can decide for me what I want or which seller I want to buy from. With there stupid best match I always wonder what I am missing but I am not going to spend endless time going through page after page.
No money orders or checks. That was it for me. Not because I don't have a credit card but because I won't use it there. You could pull the limbs from my body and I wouldn't use preypal. So no more buying from me.
Feebay wants to be like Amazon? They never will be. They wouldn't have to even try to emulate Amazone had they not sh*t on so many sellers and buyers alike. They could have cleaned house years ago but chose to sit back and collect the money.
As an aside, I was reading a blog and a woman stated her children are having to go without now because of feebays greed and now her children also HATE feebay. So, do we have a whole new generation that is going to hold feebay responsible as well? Interesting concept.

Oh, we are Tuffy. Which is why sellers and buyers alike are leaving feebay and never looking back.

eBay Management and Sellers Need Relationship Advice
It's funny because I have thought of that same analogy. It is more of an emotional attachment that many sellers have with greedbay. If it was logical, we really would have left long ago.
I am tired of the constant fight. The one-sidedness of this relationship. Concerns falling on deaf ears.
So in keeping with the marriage analogy, it really is time to just shut-up, realize it's over, and file for divorce.

eBay Bares Its Ugly New Face
People, I know many of you and probably myself as well will become discouraged at an alternative site. But, we have to keep in mind that e-bay did not start out as it is either. These other sites need some time to adjust to a higher volumn of sellers. Buyers will follow and these other sites will be able to advertise more. Don't give up. Don't give in. We may hurt for a little while but soon we can take the band-aid off and feel healed.
And let's not forget to eliminate PayPal from any future sales when we leave greedbay. There are alternatives.

I know we could all write a thesis on what is wrong with e-bay especially with the new policies but you know what else makes me so very angry? It is the fact that e-bay pits buyers against sellers. Their feedback system has always been flawed and e-bay has continually ignored it. If they wanted to clean up the site they could have long ago. Without this ridiculous one sided feedback travesty.
I get so angry when I read a buyer who says the one sided feedback is a good thing. Well, they are either scam buyers or ignorant of the problems sellers have with retaliatory feedbacks as well. For the buyers who have had a legitimate problem, they should be blaming e-bay. Sellers have always known it is e-bay's fault but once again we kept hoping they would solve the problem and clean up their site by eliminating the bad sellers and bad buyers. Which they could have easily done. Oh, but wait, they did finally offer to mediate. For a FEE!

      Once again. Don't boycott. EVACUATE!

      Mommy6pack,

That is what we need to hear! Too many people are saying they will boycott until greedbay changes at least some of their upcoming policies which is an explicit implication that they would return if greedbay decides to change their minds. Why would greedbay change anything if they know people are waiting to come back? Or they will change something now and once people start listing and buying again, it will be the same ole cr*p.
Greedbay has been failing us (buyers and sellers) for years as it is, but we all became complacent. Point blank we have to leave and never turn back. They will NEVER stop playing with us.

If feebay were to change their minds and not implement any of the new changes and for arguments sake, actually reduce listing fees, would you stay?
I must say, I won't. They have shown for the last time that they will never leave us alone. I wish people would stop using the term "boycott" and start using the term EVACUATE!
