      Um, that might be because WE, THE SELLERS "made them what they are today"... less the idiotic new changes of course.

      Um, no... the majority of sellers realize the cost of doing business and do not "whine" (that term speaks volumes about your character by the way paul)... and after just celebrating my 10 year anniversary on greedbay, I never once heard, nor said "How dare such a company take food from our table"... I'd be interested to know where you get your inaccurate information (and then you're actually ignorant enough to print it) or do you just make it up as you go?

      eBay only bought PayPal AFTER their payment system BillPoint was a COMPLETE FLOP... it was (as always) all about MONEY! LMHO

      ebay started their FLOP of a company kijiji to *try* and directly compete w/Craig... it's about GREED paul... LMHO again! I can't believe how ignorant you are to all of these FACTS paul!

      LMHO, yet AGAIN! You obviously haven't spoken to too many actual members of ebay lately have you? You know, those of us who've actually tried to CLOSE OUR ACCOUNTS... EBAY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT(S) at the moment... they call it a "glitch" (they sure have alot of those lately, eh paul?)... they even tell STORE OWNERS, after CLOSING THEIR STORES, that their store will "show as open for six months"... why do you think that is paul?
      Okay, don't hurt yourself, I'll tell you... it's so the MASS EXODUS of HUGE SELLERS, along with their TENS OF THOUSANDS of listings will not be reported to the shareholders... are you keeping up with all of this? I know this is alot of info to absorb all at once paul, but I'm trying to help you out here dude.

      Greedbay has been slowly commiting suicide for the last few years.

      Today is my 10 year anniversary on greedbay... I have supported the on~going boycott and will continue to do so... indefinitely.

      I haven't listed anything on their site in 4 months and have no intention of doing do.

      I remember when greedbay was a total blast to deal on, both buying and selling! It was fun! I've met some incredible people, who have remained friends over the last decade.

      Believe it or not, greedbay actually *did* used to fight fraud!
      They used to suspend sellers who would shill bid... sellers who sell brand new satin nightgown sets that they buy at Target for example, remove the tags and sell them as 40's vintage... brand new Rago girdles, that are manufactured right now in NY and advertise them as "vintage"... greedbay used to enforce their own policies... those days are over...

      It's *only* about the money now.

      They allow the fraudulent sellers to continue, because even if those sellers continuously rip off unsuspecting buyers, greedbay still collects listing and FVF fees... greedbay couldn't care less about honest buyers or sellers....

      And they should.

      Many, many buyers have been ripped off and for far too long... greedbay has allowed fraud to flourish on their site, and word of mouth can make you or break you, that they have cut their own throat by driving the buyers away *themselves*.

      Yes, they wrecked the site all by themselves.

      They didn't/don't enforce their own rules and reg's, strictly for their own *temporary* monetary gain.

      I mean, my gosh... all of the big execs started dumping their stock in the last quarter of last year!

      If that's not a blatant show of what's to come for the site, I don't know what is!

      I will never buy or sell on greedbay again.

      They took all of the fun out of it and I can't see paying someone for the amount of abuse they dish out these days.

      Thank goodness for eCrater and the other excellent venues out there!

      You, my dear, have just written the most accurate account of what is happening at greedbay that myself and many others have read for weeks... THANK YOU!

      It is sooooo refreshing to see that you took all of the time to uncover and report so many facts!

      So many reporters have "jumped on the bandwagon", but few have had enough marbles to actually report the truth... again... THANK YOU!

      I'm finished with idiotic~bay.

      I haven't listed or purchased anything in 4 months... I had planned a big, final blowout sale for my 10th anniversary day after tomorrow, but I changed my mind.

      I was already sick at watching the site fall apart from the fraudulent sellers greedbay not only allowed to remain on the site, but encouraged... even after countless reports to "safeharbor"... nothing was/is done.

      I'm sticking with my other stores on eCrater, as well as a few others I'm in the process of building... I've already had much success there, after devoting some time to advertising, and am sooooo happy to be totally FREE of greedbay!

      They have destroyed the trust of many, and personally there is nothing they could ever do or say to win mine back...

      I'll never buy or sell with them again.

      It's not a BOYCOTT, it's a WALKOUT!
