Apple Analysis: When Leaders Don't Lead [View article]
Zach, are you reading investor sentiment or trying to manipulate investor sentiment? There is so much negative manipulation by the terse words used to 'examine the facts' on the part of so many analysts, that it is no wonder that the market is so volatile. The facts are distorted by negative views beckoning readers to click here. There is plenty of discretionary money being spent, cautiously albeit, however we are seeing the Apple stores full of shoppers, quality builders are still building high end houses and the mall parking lots are still full of cars. Not in all areas of the country, true, but California and Florida are not the reference points for the whole country. They are overbuilt along with several other states, but herein upstate New York, people are still spending money on discretionary items like Apple iphones and mac computers, as can be seen from the last blowout earnings report. You would be a fool to suggest in this economy that the next quarter will be great. Apple did it right, but commentators /analysts make fodder of every negative thing that they can lay their hands on in an effort to get readers. You've done the same. Thanks for nothing!
The Palasades Mall Apple Store in Nanuet, NY had over 125 customers in the store Saturday at about 5pm. One sales person told me that it had been like that all day! The store next door had 2 people in it. What recession? The mall parking lots are full of cars around here. There is a slow down, but it has not happened in every market. Even high end housing is still being built in the North east. So much for averages and typicals across the nation.

The well known historian H,G. Wells said that a man's greatness can be measured by 'what he leaves to grow, and whether he started others to think along fresh lines with a vigor that persisted after him. Don't worry people...Steve's got it covered!

Your speculative writing is demeaning. I know that any speculation about my personal health that is made for public fodder would cause me serious concern. It's just a good thing that you have the right to freedom of speech in this country, otherwise you writers would have nothing positive to add. Your a waste of my reading time.
This is the most asinine report that I have heard to date considering the condition of the market. Do you think possibly that BUY ratings are still up on some of these stocks due to quality management, cash balances, earnings and other stupid little fundamentals? Like...everybody jump into KB Homes because the analysts don't have a buy rating on this stock! If you wait long till 2009, they may start selling homes again if they don't go bankrupt first. Where do you guys come up with this stuff? You are all loosing credibility very quickly!
Apple Shares Down as Analysts Lower Price Targets [View article]
Agreed!!!! Make up something...or lose your job. Frankly, I'd like to have them lose there job. Don't these analysts realize what they sound like? Empty windbags. I read this junk for laughs...just to see how they can twist a story to make print.
