I AM Long in AGNC and It IS My dividend Monster! I Love It and have bought and sold shares over the last couple of years. I am ready to buy More now because I am playing with Excel spreadsheets and have looked at what I would be getting IF I invested up to 10K in various stocks ~ and AGNC ~ Is DINO_MITE! I have a spreadsheet of the Aristocrats that I have sorted by Qtr ~ that effectively creates ~ Monthly Income from Quarterly Payers! (Only The Best ~ will Do!) This is the Most Interesting comment I have read to one of the Seeking Alpha articles. The notion that BRK could break up ~ had never occurred to me. But upon WB's demise ~ would be when that could seem relevant ~ although I would Never Predict that.
I pulled this up on Fidelity and found that they have 2 Qtr's listed for Earnings and the give No Dividends. To me, this is a Speculative stock. I don't invest in any company that can not show me 10 years of quarters with earnings that have grown over that time. And, if they don't have the money to pay me a dividend ~ I don't have the money to invest in them. ...G!
