      Why Today Is Different From the Inflationary 1970s
      One difference between now & the 1970's, the govt. has changed the calculation of inflation so that it is now significantly understated. So a comparison is like apples & oranges.

      Has the Federal Reserve Become Too Powerful?
      The Fed's primary focus has not been inflation and we are seeing the disastrous results. No doubt the fed has cut rates way too far. Looks like the 1970's all over.
