Let Thornburg's Demise Be a Lesson to You [View article]
To state the obvious, most all posters here are quite negative, even at these incredibly low prices...and yes, I understand that zero is a number. I'm holding on to 600 shares bought at $1.34. Seems stupid to sell at this point. So I could certainly lose lousy $800 investment, but then again, the upside could be sweet. Anyone else in my camp? Looks like a crap shoot on crap, but ya never know...stranger things have happened. I bought BSC at under $5 and sold it all at just over $13 before it tanked again. It was risky and certainly lucky, but it does seem plausible and possible that there is upside for the patient.
Dennis Gartman has been poo-pooing gold in virtually every interview I've seen or read. He cautioned people about it on cnbc's fast money several weeks (and many $'s) ago. The $1,000 siren's call theory may have some truth to it, but I see more of a hiccup after that benchmark, before we go further up. It may require a strong stomach to hang in there, but $1,200+ would not surprise me before we see a significant correction. Keep in mind, the % jump from $600 to $700 was far greater than $900 to $1,000...and so on from $,1000 upward. Just a thought.
