Market cap is figured by shares outstanding X price per share. If you buy up all outstanding shares you own the company. shares held by the company are used for enrichment of the officers and directors, splits. & purchases of other companies. All would dilute the stock.

Why The Commercial Real Estate Market Will Obviously Fall

I Just stumbled upon your article, and I am wondering if the last three months have changed your opinion. I feel CRE will fall but is lagging residential by at least a year. IYR didn't start selling off until the middle of last year.
I am long SRS with a big profit, but it could be BIGGER!

I also agree. SRS is currently hedging my whole portfolio (plus some)
IYR is just below the 50 day MA. It looks like its about to break.
SRS has been bumping its head on the 50 day MA. When it finally gets above it I think we could see 140 again.
