I'm sorry to say that I think you may just be right Wez.

Vwinner is getting more and more agressive about telling people they are stupid if they think Visa may have some risk. Or if they think Visa may sit at this mid $70's posistion for a bit.

Why would anyone get so angry with people for stating their opinions? Espescially when theres (us stupid ones) are getting it right on where visa will be and when.

Johnathan, you yourself stated back on the visa article that had like 135 comments that you were buying on the dips and selling high, even though you carried stock in a long posistion. Now you are telling people they are fools if they think V will drop to the $70's.
You are telling me that I am stupid cause I have an opinion that differs from yours or that I post something that isn't rah rah rah go visa even though my tiny 525 shares will be held for 17 years!
      Unless V goes to $62.70 where I got in I ain't sellin.
Please don't call me stupid anymore just because I have a different opinion and you booted me off your blog cause in your words "you post like you were on SA or yahoo finance".

      Visa Keeps Charging Ahead
Hmm, now I understand why I was booted off VWinners blog.

I definetly not a 6 or 7 seven figure person. Very low 5 figure :)
I'm the local trash man that no one gives a hoot about till I don't show up to take your trash.
But I do own 525 shares of V. And am very lonnnnng on it.
Ahh I am not very investor savy either....ouch 1 more strike against me.
Visa winners blog is a good place for Visa info that has been gathered around the net and put in one place.

I placed a post there that said Visa was in a "holding pattern" for awhile. I said Visa will trade between $77 and $85 for awhile.
Wow did I get slammed for that. It was not in your mind, a posistive post. And later when I tried to post that it looked like I was right...well It got deleted and I got the boot.

Vwinner, you use to post on SA all the time. In fact you started Visawinnersblog from SA blog and with only posters from SA.
Your biggest push on the blog is for all the team to go to every site out there and push your blog so you will have more folks.

Now here you are ( I have seen you post on every article about V or MA pushing your blog ) slamming people because they like this blog. Or slamming them because they do come to your site but yet they come here too.
But this slam I like the most, that I am a 5 figure person so I deserve dribble.

Now since I'm the one you were aiming at about buying on the dips in the $70's ( my post on your blog, unless it has been erased too )
and since somehow I was not loyal to you ( still have not figured that out ) lets see who was right.

      Visa closed today @ $76.50

You in your own post here on May 18th stated " tell you to buy on a dip- in this case $75 WHICH WON"T HAPPEN". And my post in visawinners "Holding Pattern" stated $77.

What about this post you made here on May 17th... Vwinner said:

"One last thing- and this should let you know what a fine panel of 'experts' Seeking Alpha offers- read his last paragraph

(any buy on a dip to the mid-70s would be a good time to buy/add)

GOOD LUCK SEEING 75$- you WILL NOT see 75$ again-In fact, at over 82$- what you will see is about a 5$ pop within the next week (two MAX).

This is why I can't stand this site- anyone contemplating buying the stock will be left on the sidelines.

Pro or Con- Seeking Alpha can't get it right."

I'm sorry Vwinner but I was right.

With that said I'm not going to try to make you feel like you are spouting dribble, or that somehow by you being on SA is a betrayal to your blog.
Johnathan, apparently you are a wealthy man, you like being around only those that think like you, have large incomes and like to put others down.
I on the other hand am poor by your standards. I do not love money. I have to have it to live in this world. I measure no one by how they live, how much they are worth, or where they live.
I only measure a person on what comes out of their mouth (for most of the time it speaks what is in your heart) and their charcater/actions. My greatest priorities are Jesus, family/friends and country and in that order. As you did question my faith in an e-mail because of my "balanced posts" instead of rah rah rah go visa.
May you have a very blessed hoiday sir.

Well that song is getting old that MA or V assume no credit risk.
Has anyone ever read their entire prospectus? The risk is that if the issuing bank fails then V or MA have to cover the debt. Now they state that the coverage is only 45% of the original debt.
Ahh the next thing that will be said is that a bank failure is highly unlikely lol.

V Winner's blog is a good one for those that see only one side to visa. Visa, like any other investment vehicle has risk. Especialy nowadays. But it is a good site for info on visa.

Why GE's Selling Its Appliance Division
I have worked for GE 18 years. I was A VP in the Infrastructure group before I left. Today I own no GE stock except for what is in my retirement/pension/401...

GE is in alot of trouble and has been for quite some time.
1st you have to understand that in order to remain a business unit within GE you have to maintain either 1st or 2nd in your primary market focus. You fall to 3rd and stay there more than 30 months....your sold! Unless you are in the Industrial group.
GE considers the industrial group the business that brought them to the party. The IG has been declining for 2 decades. Energy and infrastrucure has been there 2 shiners over the past decade, but those BU'shave been historically manipulated so no one really knows what there true ROI is.

GE has changed dramatically in the past decade, going away from its industrial base and heading for finance, software platforms, biomedical and energy.
IG will be spun off on its own in the next 5 years. In 06 GE sold off its industrial distribution arm which was the 1st sign of things to come in that BU.

GE management is responsible for outsourcing its workforce oversees.
      Heres a tidbit of info that is not known right before I go;
GE and TATA Group, lets just say they are learning the 2 step.

Visa: Near-Term Fluctuations Present a Buying Opportunity
I almost bought 250 shares of V in after hours for 82.86 but, I decided to wait until Monday morning. This will be my last purchase of V also.
It Took 50 + years to earn/grow this tiny bit ( compared to most I see on here stating 50k+ orders ). I will not put more than 15% of my portfolio in one stock no matter how great it is. I had to force my CFP to sell 2 funds to get this last little bit of money.

I stepped away from this post for a few days because to me it was getting out of hand. When ppl start talking about taking out loans to purchase a single stock....especially an IPO stock just because they are being whipped up by a few who can afford to take a loss if they had to. Visa will be a great stock over time. 250+ P/E brings back the late 90's dot com bubble horror.
Visa has found its peak right now at $90 which is great IMHO. I hope it sits here a couple of quarters to let earnings catch up with P/E. Then you will see the next breakout with a ceiling of $120.

I see very little patience here. Thos of you that are like me that is a blue collar man....be paitent and please don't overload on Visa.

International Paper Beaten to a Pulp: Time to Buy?
IP was once a good company but its time has come and gone IMO.

At the end of 07 IP did not own 300k acres in the US. IP sold almost half of that from 05 - 07. IP is still looking at either closing or selling more plants in the US. One of its largest investments in paper mills over the last 3 years has been its bleach board plant in Florida. Now how does that make sense? Bleach board is used mainly in orang juice cartons. Tropicana is their largest customer in the US for that product. Tropicanan is moving more and more to plastic. The largest customer base for bleach board is in Asia.
Even with the drop of the dollar IP cannot compete with the paper mills that are coming online throughout SE Asia.

Bleach Board is IP's largest profit product.
Coated Pub is what it has the largest market share in but it is its least profitable product. You guys keep on shortin that stock, and you will own more than you want and own it at more than it will be worth IMO.

Visa: Near-Term Fluctuations Present a Buying Opportunity
Well I tried to get my FP to sell my $30k Ariel Fund Friday and invest the $$ to Visa but he said that it was a bad choice :( Then I tried to do a call options on it through the FP....once again he said not good idea :( My 250 shares Visa that I had him buy at $63 is the highest % item in my portfolio. And he thinks I'm the stupid one ;( I guess I'm gonna have to make a owner decsion and make him buy me more if it ever pulls under $85 again or else jerk my account.

To those talking about taking loans out or cashing out 401's ..... ummm no that is a really bad idea IMHO. To borrow $$ to invest, sorry that is way too risky. Why not just buy V through your 401k? I own some in my 401. In fact I bought some in 2 IRA's 1 401k and most in non-quailified account.

Oh and when I started talking about options to my FP he told me that everything I said about calls and puts was wrong or I had it just backwards, so maybe in that 1 part he might have saved me.

I think Visa is a $100 stock this year, but if the market drops as a whole again ( maybe DOW to 10000) then You will see a big pullback in Visa for short term....again my opinion.

Please don't crucify me V Winner for statin my opinion on a drop if dow to 10k :)

I think your article is great Mike. I just don't think it went far enough as too how ugly it most likely will get. I am not defending Bernake at all but he inherited a corrupt and blantantly " I don't give a crap about ethics and morals I just wanna have all the power" economy and goverment.
To the person who stated an Armageddon style forcast by Mike, well, I can assure you that Mikes scenario as bleak as it is is not even a fraction of how bad it will be when this world gets close to tribulation times.
I too beleive that we need to go ahead and feel that pain now. Let those that are partly responsible for this mess to loose their shorts so that we can start rebuilding.
Ultimatley though you and I are responsible for the corrupt goverment and the power elite with no morals or ethics. Even us investors don't want to know how the money flows to our investments we just want our share too.
I know I'm gonna catch alot of flack for this post...thats ok. I was once greedy and didn't care bout no morals either :)

I see folks postin about all this money they are making on Visa with calls. How does that work? I bought 400 shares and plan to hold for about 15 years. But it would be nice to make some shoet term money sine now my family is down to 1 income. I thought a call was to buy a stock when it hit a certain price. So how can buying Visa at these prices be making you money now?

If I had $300k in 1 posistion I would be yellin for everyone to buy it also. But Visa will drop back down again, along with everything else.
If you did get in around the high 50's to low 60's you should not sell IMHO. If you got in at low 70's I would sell and jump back in when the market as a whole drops like a rock again. Oh yea it is gonna drop again.

      Hey,
I am one of the poorest of the poor here. ( if you jude someone by how much money they make or by how little they have)Yea you know of me.
I'm the one that keeps your sewers flowing, your yards mowed, fixes your AC in August at 2:00 am, or takes your order at the restaraunt. The one whose family income is less than $60k a year and pays the most in taxes ( based on percentage of income).
I only had the prospectus to read as far as research for V. But I had more than that in life. No one wants to take or use cash anymore. A lot of folks have gone to shopping on the inet which you need plastic or paypal. Everything is going plastic and V is not a credit company, its what I call a taxi cab for transactions.
So yes I scraped all most all my funds to buy 400 shares V @ $59 and $65. I have put all my faith in this one stock for a 17 year investment. This will pay hopefully for my families future.
Those who say to research and do your due deligence are correct everytime but, I cannot tell you how strong this gut feeling is to own V for my future in this world.
Of course I consider my self one of the richest PPL on this earth because of my family, friends and most importantly because of what Jesus has done for me.

Who's to Blame for the Commodities Boom?
I do not understand alot about investments. I have a question as to why there is short selling to begin with?
I'm sure wall street is the culprit who started it as another way to make $$$. My question is why not do away with betting (speculating) on a particular fund/stock/commodity going down? Yes if something goes up yes it will come down also but why try to bet on where and how much. To me it does sound like gambling....just another way to make a dollar.

We will all see very soon that the world goverments will step in and consolidate supply and demand rates. In other words they will set caps per country on how much of supply you get for a yearly basis.
Of course this will not work....thats when things get very interesting.
