Very wise decsion JtBear. As some of the ...no all of the Proshares executables are being investigated. In fact it has been going on since mid November of 07.

If we only knew the full context of all the swaps that have been taking place in ETF's since they were created.

It's Now 'Official': Ethanol Is a Scam
LOL all of us here attacking each other over corn, ethanol, subsidizing, food and politics.
But then again here we are on a investments blog where we are out for ourselves trying to feed our greed for money.
We can make a difference on our need for oil. But we will have to give up our bass boats, party barges, house boats, 4 wheelers, 4x4 trucks, racing cars, Sunday after church drives and on and on.
Instead of trying to screw each other so we can get ahead, try and help each other so we can all stay above water.
Instead of complaining about the presidents and senators to each other, start holding them accountable for their actions or better yet inactions.
We think things are getting bad. I can promise you this, things are very good right now compared to 5 years from now.
Farmers, engineers, accountants, rich or poor we all have to make drastic changes in our lives. We all need to push the US goverment ( notice I didn't say our goverment ) to R&D all of the technologies and resources we have available for alternative energy.
Until we can say "love thy neighbor" instead of "screw thy neighbor"
and decide to make the goverment do what the founding fathers had intened it to do then we deserve what we have created.

      Visa’s Record IPO: A Profitable Long-Term Investment?
IMHO I would be a fool not to own Visa. Visa has no direct ties to any credit concerns. It gets its money for processing transactions. Unfortunately cash seems to be going away. I think Visa will see more than a $100 a share before this time next year.

Not true, Trusts do add properties to there assets for future reserves.
If they didn't then they would be short term investments.
I do not own any US energy trusts but I do own Canadain trusts.
The best one I own is PGH. I love that .22 cdn every month :)

      High Tide for SiRF Technology
Garmin is not Sirfs only customer but it is its largest for the GPS IC chip sets. Sirf does command 80% of this market. Broadcom ( Garmin has its own chipsets as well but not near the quailty compared to Sirfs) is chipping away at this market but hey let em take another 10% market share....Sirf still has alot of growth with 70% market share.

Oh and yes I'm long on Sirf.
