Two brothers (24yrs and 28yrs) decided to dabble in trading. So far two heads better than one, with ~90% success rate and average return rate of 2%. Rules we follow: 1) Buy only when low. Even if it looks like going higher, stay away from highs. 2) Don't be greedy. Slow and steady wins the race. Small profit is better than any loss. (This one's sometimes hard to follow, thankfully we have each other to smack over the head when temptation rises.) 3) 5% Stop loss. If you lose, lose small, avoid tying up the money for the long term so you could regain losses quickly. 4) Research, research and more technical analysis :). It's easy when you know what you're doing. If you want to gamble, go to the casino. 5) Play securities with inverted relationships, so when one goes up, the other is pushed down. Market is like a woman, you give your best guess, but you never know what it wants or what it thinks, so prepare for any mood swing :). 6) Always keep invest ratio at 33/33/33 of your funds. 33% in one stock, 33% to buy into inverse at next low and 33% available funds to correct any mistakes you make. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's the gist of it. Good luck and have fun trading.
