  • Wall Street Breakfast: Must-Know News [View article]
It is all starting to come unglued. Maybe finally, the people
will understand what bad leaders they have put in Sacramento
and just maybe demand the proper changes(read as downsizing).

Look for things to get much worse very soon.

sort of like alcohol? Or that supersized big mac?

The tobacco thing is purely a political driven agenda...sort
    of like global warming.

  • Expecting Hyper-Inflation: Fed Chooses to Monetize America's Debt [View article]
Deflation? Except for house prices and consumer electronics just
where is this happening? I don't see it in the routine things I purchase.
I see inflation and I see a lot of it.

You say gasoline and other fuels are cheaper? Yes, that is because
we came off an enormous bubble, not because of deflation.

The gov't has chosen to get out of this recession by inflating unmanageable debts to manageable levels. They also under measure
real inflation by a tremendous amount. So much for honesty.

  • Bernanke Seems Clueless About the Real State of the Economy [View article]
I'm not sure what 'accountable' is in this context.

If he didn't do anything criminal then there isn't anything you can do to him. In our society, unlike some others, we no longer do public floggings. Certainly, draining his personal assets wouldn't be of any benefit to the overall problem.

We often hear from leaders about accountability but usually this
    is a pretty meaningless term.

I do agree that he bears his share of guilt for his actions but there
were many players in this game.

Perhaps we are ready for public floggings?
