  • Finally Some Good News for Sirius Shareholders  [View article]
MVL came back from the brink of destruction after being bought out by Toybiz, I was in before the by out and I bought more shares after the toybiz takeover. This appears to be a far more difficult task for SIRI, I have had terrible luck with merging companies that are already having financial difficulties, the reverse split is a sign of there inability to make ends meet, but hey at least they are trying to keep afloat. With car sales in a serious downturn and people cutting back on luxuries its going to be a tough road ahead for a company whose product I have enjoyed for years.

  • How the Rescue Plan Affects Sirius [View article]
Sirius and XM will be greatly missed by road jockeys like myself, I hope this combined satellite radio company regains strength so we dont find ourselves without the many sports coverages and talk radio as well as the variety of music options or our days on the road will become long and lonely days. Its awesome to be able to listen to the radio without losing our signal as we drive from state to state. Support the merger with a purchase of XM's great low stock price, it may make our days on the road continue with high quality entertainment for years to come. Signed the ROADJOCKEY

  • Cramer Continues to Dig a Sirius Hole for Himself [View article]
I have been a long time listener of XM radio and dont know how I lived without it for so many years. On my travels I love to listen to Dave Ramsey and his sound financial advice, sporting events that dont fade out from state to state, music of every genre, it has everything to offer and should only continue to spread like wild fire, people didnt think cable TV would take off-like we all miss the five stations we had before .

  • Radio Value Opportunity Beckons: Calling Warren Buffett [View article]
I have seen the same comments made in the past about free TV and how people are not going to pay for something they already get for free. My thought is with companies like Sirius and XM that you done just get music and non stop commercials, but you get content. Sporting events, music, talk radio while your on a long trip that wont all of a sudden cut out on you because you are out of the range of the radio tower is a huge advantage to the sattelite based business. So in my humble and non Warren Buffet like opion I think sattelite radio like cable television is here for the long run, or until the next great unforseable technology comes along. Dont get me wrong though free radio like our five free TV channels, should always have a place in a free society.
