6 Reasons Tight Credit Markets Won't Stop the Wind Industry
The problem with wind turbines is (and I heard this from an ironworker friend who builds them) they only have a life expectancy of 20 years because the transformers can't be reliable after that amount of time. So their only recourse is to take the blades off and leave the base intact (because they're too hard to take down). What were they thinking when they first decided to use wind turbines. 20 years goes by pretty darn fast but those 93 metre bases will last forever ! ! !

Oil: Long-Term Bull Still Intact; Short-Term Weakness Should Persist
Do people really believe we won't use up more of the world's oil ? I don't think so. We'll just use it up at a smaller rate than today. I can't see the world giving up all those engines that need and use oil everyday. Don't forget winter is almost upon us in the northern hemisphere and all those people riding bikes trying to save gas will have to go back to driving there cars for at least the next 5-6 months. I'm still bullish on oil.

'Free Market' Healthcare: Fix It Now, Before It's Too Late
Here's an idea. Take more of an interest in your own health by not smoking, overeating, overdrinking, and not getting enough sleep. You are what you eat. At 5'8" and 125 lbs. I weigh what I did in high school. I go to bed by 9:30 pm, wake up by 5:15 am, drink only one cup of coffe, eat breakfast and then walk my dog up and down hills for 40 minutes each and every day no matter the weather. It takes hard work to stay healthy and frankly alot of people aren't into that. I'm going to be 50 soon and feel great. No prescription drugs for me thanks. I'm into o-natural. Try it, you might like it. (But the drug companies won't) PS My secret is drinking GoChi juice everyday ! ! !

10 Reasons I'm Glad To Be Doing Business in America
I've told my kids over and over again that they won the lottery of life when they were born in Canada. Much of Canada's population lives within 200 miles of the Canada/United States border. I grew up listening to radio stations from Detroit, Michigan and even lived in Florida for 5 years in the late 80's and early 90's. I always believed that the USA was a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. After living there it was more true than ever. Are you really living in a free society when you go from your locked house to your locked car and hope you don't get shot on your way to the mall. Thanks, but no thanks. Grateful to be living in the greatest country in the world, Canada. PS Maybe if more Americans actually lived abroad they would realize living in a cage is no fun.

      Paulson: Dracula or Uncle Sam?
I actually think Hank Paulson looks more like a taller, more slender, Uncle Fester from the Adam's Family. Don't you think so ?

The Time To Buy Is When Blood's In the Streets
Should the fox (Hank Paulson) be in charge of the henhouse (a blank cheque) ? How would Americans feel if they knew Hank Paulson worked for Goldman Sachs from 1974 - 1999 then cashed in $500 MILLION in Goldman Sach's shares in 2006. Not to happy I'll bet ! ! !

Natural Gas Dilemma: Investment Fruition or Price Freefall? (CHK, PDE)
Loved your article. I also agree that energy will get goobled up because many countries ( China, India, Russia ) are trying desperately to catch up with the western world. Everybody wants our lifestyle. Can you blame them. Capitalism gets rid of poverty. Thanks for reading. Joan in Canada.
