you also forgot to mention that his great leadership ,business skills and incredible marketing changes..... were like a invite to every scamer-con artist-thief.. etc.. and then each was rewarded with * "a COUPON"-so they could go back and really nail the poor seller into the ground...

Wow- John has such great expectations of Skype... Isn't that special..

in this day and age.. with technology moving as quick as it is.. in the wink of an eye.. some kid in High School.. .. will come up with something that will make Skype look anicent.- literally... Overnight...

.... Me thinks John and company are putting all their bad eggs into a weak shabby basket...
AND.....

With the economy being what it is... more people.. than ever.. are using/selling /buying "SECOND HAND" -"USED"-"VINTAGE" .. than ever... .
The popularity of "GOING GREEN'.. Grows incredibly stronger by all generations.. everywhere...every minute...
. "RECYCLING" is HOT HOT HOT...It's good for the environment.. easy on the wallet/pocketbook.. and much of the second hand... particularly vintage.. *****hasn't been POLLUTED.. by chemicals .. after being imported from other countries...

YES... ****SECOND HAND.. **USED.. **FLEA MARKET STUFF.. IS and HAS BEEN IN HIGH DEMAND..
BUT NOT ON EBAY.....

John and Co. has been very small minded... only keeping their eyes open on the large volume sellers... .. most of who have been selling Imported stuff from China.. which will ALL soon be banned in the USA... if even wanted....

ME THINKS THAT THE FALL IN NUMBERS ON EBAY.. MUST HAVE BEEN FROM ALL OF THAT "N.O.I.S.E" (rofl)....

Red Baron- you are right... except the feedback issue is only one of many issues.. and there's no turning back ! Now that ebay is stuck in the mud... up to their neck in lawsuits and whatnots... NOW... they're gonna "LISTEN"...???????????... I'm was also an old timer .. on ebay... and worked hard to build my business... but everytime we turned around- a new "policy" was being brought in... NO THANKS... I'M DONE WITH EBAY... I'M NO LONGER BOYCOTTING EBAY... I'VE TOTALLY ABANDONED EBAY.. EVEN AS A BUYER .
too little ... too late... too much damage done...
Ebay has betrayed the those that fed them... with so much betrayal- internationally- "those who fed them" are gone for good. Ebay has taught us another valuable lesson... never to put all our eggs into one basket...

Their changes has forced so many to move right along.. no turning back.... Promises Promises...--- turn out to be nothing but lies...

History will repeat itself again.. on ebay... but too many have been 'burnt' to dare go back for a second helping...

eBay is Listening

Ebay should have never "fixed" anything... nothing was broken. Ebay has lost the loyalty and trust of a great deal of their sellers - whom have gone elsewhere. I being an ex ebayer- seller and buyer- am speaking on behalf of so many whom ebay has tossed aside. No matter how many changes are promised- they are not to be trusted. Proof of this was the attendance at 'Ebay live 2008'.

Their is another site out there.. that will take the place of what was once the Ebay everyone knew.
OLA.com is next up and coming site for collectibles, treasures and findings... antiques.. both for sellers and buyers..

Ebay- fool me once- shame on me--- Fool me twice- I DON'T THINK SO....
Ola.com is the kind of place that ebay once was..and so many ebay refugees have moved over to OLA.com.. and are building it as it write this....

eBay Management and Sellers Need Relationship Advice

Thanks Randy-for saying what had to be said-and portraying it as delicately as possible.
Everything you have said is absolutely true-unfortunatley it falls upon deaf ears at Ebay headquarters.
Unfortunately all the threats of boycotting are starting to appear useless. I have not yet heard a single individual or group volunteer/offer to step forward and resolve this matter on behalf OF ALL THE SELLERS ON EBAY-by sitting down with the corporate heads or those so appointed.
Instead of The "blogger" Ebay plans to hire -why not get an arbitrator or mediator -unbiased for both Ebay sellers (ALL) and Ebay Inc. There has to be a meeting of the minds.
I have searched for other venues to sell my little trinkets and such-and find myself in such unfamiliar territory-that i lose alittle more hope each day. It's extremely depressing-and i know i speak on behalf of many ebay sellers. We are intimidated to sell for fear of retailiation by boycotters-and Ebay has 'rasied the bar' so high- it's unreachable and unrealistic.
There must be a compromise that works for all.
