  • Amazon Fire Phone Is No Apple iPhone Killer [View article]
Is Amazon going to make a profit this quarter? That's the real question. When will they kill the Kindle? That's the real question. When will Apple surpass Amazon in ebook sales? Only a matter of time. Maybe as short as a quarter or two.

Amazon's going to lose and some people are going to lose a lot of $. Can't wait to see the bottom fall out!

  • At Google IO, The Smartphone Wars Are Over: The War For Share Of Time Has Begun [View article]
Apple's raking in almost all the money.

Profit share over market share any day.

Just look @ HTC, how relieved they are they finally turned a profit. And now Samsung's on the slippery slope down hill. And Motorola's days are pretty much numbered. And let's see how Google does this quarter- I sense another miss on the horizon. Yup, all Android success stories here- not!

Oh, did I mention the fragmentation on Android? Why even release a new OS, when your last OS has a mere 14% penetration?

    Really, dominating who? The meek?

  • Google Or Apple: Which Is The Better Long Term Bet? [View article]
Google's a one trick pony. An a Apple wannabe. It's that simple. And let's not forget the 2nd rate products Google's known for like Android, Google Play, Google Plus- all products designed to copy someone else's better product.

  • IDC Estimates For iPhone Sales In India Seem To Be Grossly Incorrect [View article]
If you think you shoudn't believe anything you read or hear about on the internet- that holds doubly true for Apple and when earnings season comes about.

More crap surfaces than half time during the Superbowl.

  • Google Vs. Apple: Death By A Thousand Paper Cuts [View article]
Apple's clearly winning. If it weren't for Samsung, Google would be in the dumps. And what good does it do Google to see Samsung make the $? While Motorola bleeds cash every quarter?

And we really don't know how much Samsung even makes, because they don't give units sold numbers or even shipped numbers. It's all conjecture up to this point.

For what we know, all the Android manufactures could be losing $.

  • The Sad State Of Smartphones [View article]
It's so funny how the iPhone is threat to Samsung's market dominance. When 4 out of 5 smartphones that I see are iPhones. How's that? Do I live in parallel universe? The "iPhone" universe??

Looks to me like Apple's leading and the media just fabricating this Samsung dominance. Or maybe counting all the feature phones Samsung sales in 3rd world countries.

To anyone reading these articles: don't believe the BS. The media's living in fear of Apple controlling it like it controls the music through iTunes.

  • Google Stole Apple's Mojo [View article]
This mojo stolen thing would be short lived. And lacks any real depth other than the stock price. And let's face it, Apple's stock ran up too fast. So, it's decline is relative.

Apple, like Tim Cook alluded to, needs to stay on track and continue to build on its current ecosystem: iTunes, iBooks,.. Retail stores.

Let's face it, the Dells, HP, Blackberry & Nokia are easy targets for Apple this year. With re-routing business from Samsung to others the next big agenda item.

When you have lots of $, great products, and a loyal customer base you don't need to make rash decisions like Wall Street would like to see Apple do.

As Steve Jobs would have said, let's focus on making great products. The stock price will work itself out. And Steve said this when supposedly Apple was a quarter away from declaring bankruptcy! Now they have $137 billion in cash! They could run the company for like 12 years @ $4 Billion in operating cost per quarter with the current cash hoard.

  • Google's Chromebook Pixel Proves A Point [View article]
Chrome books selling like "hotcakes. huh?

Which world do you live in?
How many chromebooks sold last quarter? I'd bet my guess- close to zero is more realistic than your "hotcakes," pull out of my *ss assertation.

I mean how lame can Google be? Thinking they should change their mission statement to: We copy Apple.

The only good thing is that to execute the "We Copy Apple" mission statement, they don't needs all those software engineers hanging around and accomplishing close to nothing. But, then again, who's going to read your email to target ads @ you then? My bad.

  • Why Apple Is Still A Buy Despite Its New Industry Classification [View article]
Apple should just keep building stores, improving its products and cutting deals to make Siri & iOS a reliable interwoven embedded OS. Really, it's own a matter of time before it dwarfs even the US Govt! Apple could become its own exchange! It's going to be that big!

  • Buying Amazon With A 20-Year Horizon [View article]
Amazon will never see a tenth of the profits made by Apple. The best thing that Apple could do for the likes of the brick & mortar companies is to 1st stall and then reverse Amazon's growth in the content media business; then devalue its dominant ordering business by proliferating a whole bunch of dedicated purpose apps for particular consumer goods.

  • Why Apple Is Still A Buy Even Though Amazon And Google Have Better Products [View article]
How many Nexus Tablets did Google sell last quarter? More than 1 Million? 2 Million?

I'm asking because Apple sold ~ 23 Billion iPads last quarter. And 48 million iPhones!

Wow! So many people are buying inferior Apple products. That's amazing.

  • Amazon WIll Outperform Earnings Expectations [View instapost]
Didn't Amazon report a $275 Million loss the August-October quarter? If so, how can there be rising profits? I'm thinking they might report a $500 million loss for the Holiday quarter that ended 3 weeks ago. Let's see.

  • Apple Needs Product Diversification [View article]
Apple's already putting a hurting on HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, RIMM, Nokia and many others.

All Apple has to do is open another 50 stores and keep improving their existing products and many of the above wont be around come 2015.

As for Samsung, their going to start feeling the pain come this quarter. Now that Apple's shifted some 30% of its business elsewhere, well the bottom line won't be the same. Start cooking the books- I wouldn't put anything past Samsung. And once the processor business has gone over to TMSC; well they'll be a hole the size of moon in their production budget. And if Apple has any luck, this lack of business will coincide with heavy fines for the misuse of FRAND patents & fines from patent infringements. The perfect storm!

I'm not worried about Google- they haven't made any $ from Android. Do the math, and they've probably lost billions.

  • Plays For Samsung's Global Smartphone Leadership [View article]
You know what's funny? I saw the New Year's celebration on tv last night & spotted like 5 iPhones during the broadcast. Not one Samsung product. All the while Samsung paid for the event. How about them Apples.
