With Baidu (BIDU) disrupted by an ad system switch, Google (GOOG) may finally have an opening to try to make inroads in China, one of the few places where awareness of the search leader is low (see chart). [View news story]

Jon Friedman wonders whether Jim Cramer is defiant, or just clueless. "When Cramer writes about the stock market for New York magazine, there is no better or more knowledgeable Wall Street pundit around. He is that good. But when he turns into his Mr. Hyde persona on television, his brilliance gets lost in the noise." [View news story]
I like Cramer. Predicting is always difficult. He gets a grade of at least a B.
He takes his lumps when he is wrong. I don't understand the rabidness of some of his critics.
Let's do the tulips again. It hasn't been done in centuries now so they are way overdue for a comeback. I think the bottom is in in tulip bulbs by now.
Would somebody please order Jobs a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a milkshake! I think Apple would be up $20 if we could just get 10 more pounds on his frail-looking body.

I'm not a fan of Money Magazine, but T. Rowe Price New Era fund [PRNEX] is a good pick. I've owned some for about 3 years, and it's returned about 30% a year each of the last 3 years. It's hard to be unhappy with that.

It would be crazy to follow him blindly and he repeatedly warns viewers not to do that. He doesn't seem to have any problem saying "I was wrong."
I am starting to suspect that the people that hate him watch him more than his fans do (like Howard Stern).
