Big Pharma: Where's the Risk Management? [View article]
Sorry not impressed, either with oral-Lyn data that has been presented or the concept of a metformin chewing gum. Based on PhII results, PhIII will not get approval fro Oral-Lyn. Sorry, but this is a scam company at best. Not reckless, but a realist.

GNBT is about as highly speculative as you can get. Right up there with the likes of GNTA et al. Oral-Lyn will never get approval in a major martket. Absorption is highly variable and unreliable. I agree that Big Pharma is stumbling around in this environment, but comparing this joke of a company called Generex to PFE is absolutely ludicrous. This begs the question, where is your risk management or are you just clueless?

Write facts, but wrong interpretation. Big Pharma spending at CRO probably hasn't changed much, but rather the smaller, more virtual biotechs who have dramtically cut back on their spending due to the lack of funds and lack of access to credit markets due to the credit crunch.

Merck's own brand of tort reform has slowed these "cock-a-roaches considerably" The 2 recent VIOXX appeals and overtuning of large awards will send Lanier and his gang , hopefully to do pro bono work for real people with real problems. Once can only hope.
