"you endorse vandalism and gloat in it because of your opinion" and the rest of your post contributed little and seems nothing more than an invitation to spar - deleted with a clear conscience.

Yep. That's when folks had enough sense and consideration to not respond so that deleting was quick and simple and the troll didn't have "springboards" to justify further comments.

As long as "you all" converse, no more deletions. Just too GD much work caused by folks that can't constrain themselves.

Of course, there's those that believe it's all "honest" commentary. We can't prove them wrong either.

As before, we remind that all can start their own blogs. We would welcome the relief now, probably.

Per isthisonebetter request, his post was deleted. Best we can do for useful comments that were in the thread is post them here - just too difficult to try and make a sane thread out of it.

Maya> Sometimes drawing the line between the end of R&D and the beginning of commercialization is tough because the fact that you're done developing your product doesn't necessarily mean the market is ready to start buying that product. You're absolutely right in saying the principal development work was finished 20 months ago. It's also undeniably true that the principal potential customers are still in the middle of their testing and validation process. While the work the customers are doing is terribly opaque, the fact that its ongoing speaks volumes because major companies don't continue spending money on unsuccessful projects. If any of them encountered insurmountable technical or economic problems they would have walked away.

Every bartender knows that you don't dilute a beer by adding a shot of whiskey. Every ounce of fluid in the resulting drink is stronger. It's still absolutely true.

It's also true that accepting dilution of your ownership interest is a conscious choice. You either pay your pro-rata share of the costs and retain a specific percentage of a company or you sit on your wallet and accept a smaller percentage. It's still a choice every investor makes in his heart of hearts and it's his absolute right to do so.

What no investor has the right to do is sit on his wallet and complain that his interest is being diluted.

JP: "While the work the customers are doing is terribly opaque, the fact that its ongoing..."

Apart from ePower and MAYBE ever-stalled BySolar, there is absolutely no EVIDENCE that Axion is involved with ANY 'customers' or battery manufacturers "ongoing".

JP: "If any of them encountered insurmountable technical or economic problems they would have walked away."

And how do we know they haven't???? Crickets.

Even JP seems squeamish to consider the $3 question...

    RuggedDC,
You sound like you are tormented by this investment.
I worked for a General Motors division from 1995 to 2005 and I never knew any inside information that would have saved my 401k investment in GM.
I suspect that Axion will not air their dirty laundry either. All we will ever know are the companies strengths.

Isthisonebetter, your profanity-laced outburst is one of the most disconcerting posts I’ve ever seen on this blog. Was very much enjoying and appreciating a most excellent, respectful and gentlemanly exchange of viewpoints until your deplorable diatribe.

Re: references to a <$20M Mkt. Cap. — Once the new shares are issued in a couple of weeks, the total share count will almost double, and simultaneously almost double the Mkt. Cap. from what it is now into the mid-30'sM range.

ISTM the current pps is re-confirming, as it has done repeatedly over the past 2-3 years—that Axion, with no sales and revenue visibility, deserves a Mkt. Cap. in the $30-$40M range, with that range gradually lowering the closer we get to the next cap. raise.

Frankly, I think there is likely to be a silent majority which agreed with him (i.e. Isthisonebetter). I know I did and it pretty much expresses how I feel. And, for the record, he's just as entitled to express himself as the rest of you perennial pessimists.

    WiO,

I would like to formally apologize and ask that APH delete my comment. I was out of line with my language and I am sorry.

I am not sorry, however, for taking the stance that you should support your own investment. And if Axion makes you so uncomfortable as an investment, then just sell it.

I don't see anyone as a perennial pessimist. Go back to June 2012 and we were told by TG that he expected to be revenue neutral by end of 2013 - the annual dilutions would come to an end. Then we get clobbered with that god-awful pipe financing, still haven't hit revenue neutrality, and still haven't seen the 'significant sales' that were just around the corner last summer. But we did see 3 year contracts. We've taken quite the a**-kicking.

Here are some suggested questions for the next call:

    1. Do you see any route to revenue neutrality before another cap raise is needed?

    2. What exactly are Vani's performance targets? Is 2 years and 4 months not sufficient time to have something more substantial than what we have seen?
