      Yep, with help like this, who needs any enemies.
      SPWR and FSLR are clearly in bear market. Clearly. Heavy selling on good news is a sure sign the bubble has burst. SPWR is breaking through it's 10, 21, 50 and 200 day MA. FSLR formed a bear flag pattern yesterday. These will shoot down to reasonable p/e ratios. Look for them to lose at least 50% in the next two weeks.

      "Is SPWR becoming the Government main contractor for installing solar systems on Federal sites.
      They just completed installing a solar electric system on top of the roof top for the Dept of Energy Federal Building in Washington D.C. Sun power has also installed solar system for other government agencies such as the US Navy in Hawaii and Calf, The US Postal Service, and Air Force bases.
      They have under contract to build a Solar system at Kennedy Space center site.
      The company has no debt and over the last 3 months insiders have purchased a net 56.0K shares. This is in stark contrast to the 2-year quarterly average where insiders are net sellers and indicates that insiders are more bullish about SPWR's prospects for the next 6-12 months.
      They need no Gov tax incentives...The Gov is paying them for their solar systems. "

      While the government is buying the panels, the administration will change and therefore they probably will lose their contracts. Usually happens in these cases.

      Now where are you getting that the insiders have purchased shares? That is an out and out lie. They have been selling. Cypress sold 2.5 million shares.

      Atkins, Shughar, Swanson, Richards, Wood and Werner have been selling just like Mozillo of countrywide. Does anyone else see the same thing going on here? You all remember Mozillo right? Just like the guys at Thornberg and Jack Yetiv and the other pumpers here.

      Solar is a great idea, but these p/e's are way out of line. This one will be in the 20's by January.

      Yep and Cramer the biggest pump jobber that there is had DArden CEO on after reporting a dismal quarter to try to pump the stock. PAthetic. Although I shorted this pig before and made money, this time I may dollar short average whith the "Cramer pop" it's going to get. Pathetic.

      Rough Day for Solar Stocks
      You guys long this stock don't get it. Here it is easy.
      1. Solar is a great Idea if it was cheaper, a lot cheaper. It is not efficient and does not have grid parity and may never reach it given the conditions.
      2. Cypress is selling their stake in SPWR. If it was "going to the moon" why would they divest themselves? Not to mention the insiders have been selling just like Mozillo was at Coutrywide and the guys at IndyMac. Intense heavy insider selling is never a good thing no matter how you slice it up.
      4. We need cheap renewable. Wind, nuclear, and nat gas are all great sources.
      5. THe styock trades at a high p/e ratio. Their own CEO warned about a decrease in prices in 2009. Decreasing prices are goood if thgere is a more expensive product there to replace it. The chip manufacturers always kept the entry level PC at 1K. THe next model was faster and more powerful for the same 1K although the older chips became less expensive and were therefore "lowered" the price of all chips, but the profit was in the most expensive chips. Solar panels are not incrteasing in efficuiency in that manner. They have to rely on external forces, ie higher nat gas and coal to reach grid parity and become more efficient and cheaper. Not the same economics.
      4. Saving the planet has nothing to do with being green. Since the Ice Age, the earth has been warming. Even wonder why the large reptiles were able to roam the earth? They were cold blooded. They needed the earth to be warm. Once it cooled, they died. Simple as that. You don't need the retarded Al Gore to spell it out for yoou. Since then, the earth has tried to reach it's "true" climate, which is warmer than we are now. The only was to stop it is to shade the earth from the sun on a large scale, like a meteor strike, volcano or possibly a giant "shade satellite" that could shade the earth at times to help cool the air.

      So don't hate the one who tries to bring reason to you. Consider the information, and never say you weren't given ample warning.

      No need to get mad longs. I told you guys this one was going to crash. It is. It will go further. Not that solar isn't a bad idea. It's great if it works more efficiently. I would hate to be long when cypress starts unloading. They are about to let out another 2.5 million shares. Dilution is not a good thing for a stock, especially one as risky as SPWR.

I could have shown you the DNC and told you it was the RNC and you would have said the same.

      As far as your landslide, I highly doubt it. Many NY voters, Hillary supporters, will cross the line or not vote. That is the feeling around here. NYC's last reelected Dem mayor was Koch and the Governor was Cuomo. If McCain would do a little campaining in NY he could take NY.

      realistic guy: You have no clue about politics and what "America" wants. To call someone dumb or ignorant because they vote a certain way makes you the ignorant one as you are unable to see and evaluate the issues and make an informed choice. The liberals are scared and pissed off because Obama couldn't put his pride in check and put Hillary on the ticket, which was truly a no brainer as that would be the winning ticket. So McCain put a woman on the ticket smacks them all hard. McCain will win and America and the world will be better for it.
