I'm an intellectual by profession, so be forewarned! I spend about 20 hours a week reading and analyzing, but am no professional; so don't give much weight to what I say unless it resonates with you. I mostly trade options -- covered LEAPS, not day trading; so I'm a conservative-aggressive. I tend to side with momentum thinkers, or non-thinkers, believing that humans are such lousy predictors that those who espouse a clear view of the future are not terribly likely to be right. That said, there's no way an individual can compete with the trend-following of the fancy professional software, so one has to make some bets based on guesses about the future. But hedging the hedges is my tendency, because I don't trust myself or anyone else.
