@Brewer makes a fine point. (I'm a tad embarrassed to be ”commenting” on such a scrawny “data set” in general.) Munster tends to go with the flow, except when he goes exuberantly over the top- and NO, I don’t think he even drinks! But even Gene would have a tough job being in two stores at the same time.

Yep: Last year there was one in NYC; this year there are two. As parochial as are the shoppers in NYC- 1) They’re not all THAT stupid (Most don’t buy a Mac and share their thoughts on the “MAC.” and - 2) Most folks in the City tend to know what’s going on, so if a new Apple store opens 10-12 blocks closer, more often than not, they might just stop in there.

I almost NEVER visit Apple stores. 1) They are _always_ crowded and I hate crowds; 2) I live on a little island 30 miles out at sea (with no Apple store) where I get most of what I need with a simple “CLICK.”

As for all these “Analysts:” There’s another island out here (Yep- presidents like it!) where God might well relocate ALL these silly financial gurus. There they could all babble to one another regularly, and it sure might help the Vineyard’s (sorry) “Economy.”

[...Cheaper to publish this nonsense “here” than on, say, paper- not to mention any half sober “editor” to burp an “OK.” ]

Really, someone here should show- if not editorial oversight, at least something not unlike: "Is it me or is this poor chap just downright nuts?”

“Who cares boss; we need to fatten things up with a few more ‘comments.’ “

You’re right. WTF. I’d just like to be able to trace this bizarre ISP address. It might prove to all there _IS_ something not unlike "Life” somewhere else out there is outer space.

‘Hardly worth commenting on this poor fellow’s jabber. What say someone, much kinder than me, start up a little fund to get this poor guy a brand new head, or even a nice, slightly used one.

  • Apple Still Overvalued - RBC [View article]
Yep! Good old "Cutting Edge" Abramsky is at it again. (As I recall some wise man out there said Abramsky is about "as cutting edge as a wet roll of toilet paper...") Interesting also, in that you can also pick up a small "tell" on one's particular tech bias, depending on how they spell that particular computer from Apple: If they tend to use a Windows PC, and they also tend to "badmouth" or even short Apple, they will almost always spell it, "MAC."

If on the other hand they happen to use that particular "computer," and/or be unbiased, (I know- that gave me away; darn!) or God forbid, be positive and even Long, they spell it, "Mac."

You say you think I'm starting to talk like Andy Rooney. That's fine with me, MAC!

  • Apple's Refreshed Macs an Unlikely Catalyst of Growth - RBC [View article]
My I suggest that Mr Abramsky go out and grab his daily Big Mac with Cheese, come back, do some deep breathing. Turn of that nice, cheap PC and drive on home in your second hand Hugo, and simply take a nap. We really DO need more thrifty butt heads like you Abramsky. Though you might not stimulate a thing - is "unstimulate" a verb?- it's really exhilarating to know that all us fat cats can come and do our silly small part by "wild and crazy spending" on an Oh-So-Overpriced, and fabulous Mac. (So many folks out there are just so grateful that folks like you have self-selected out; keeps the boring, beige butt heads like you out of the "Cult" of Macintosh. I have a couple 20 cent off coupons which my housekeeper left here. It could really ad up in your next shopping binge for Tuna and Hamburger Helper.

We're all lucking to have a prudent watchdog like you looking out for our very own money- like Pelosi and the very disappointing Obama are already enough! (Oh-and what a brave forecast on AAPL. Really letting it all hang out with at $70! price) Go wild! Right on brother- Stimulate THIS!

Jim, it's about time you rethought hanging out in the Apple woodshed with Shaw Wu-- sorry; I'm sure you're good old bud's from way back. But his nonsense is starting to rub off on you.

We've all heard the various "rumors" going way back on Mr. Wu; I like you- I do! and I'd stay away from Wu's woodshed in any case.

Forget stocks! We all follow you simply for the pure, unmedicated, entertainment. (Maybe your old buddy Larry could give you a tip or two.)

Our prescient "author" has certainly shown great acrobatic skills in making the marvelous (but just a bit fatally off) trapeze "leap" from chip makers and Apple.
Perhaps it might help if he worked it out on paper, with Facts rather than erroneous intuition.
