Does anyone know what inflation indexes the underlying issues use for their TIP features? Are they all linked to inflation rates in the issuing country? Some other index? Thanks.]]>

How do each of the indexes differ in how they deal with rolling contracts forward? I'd like to see an explanation of this part of the issue that is as in-depth as your explanation of their differences in composition.

Also, how do ETN issuers invest the proceeds of selling notes? Do they invest directly in commodities? Do they buy futures contracts? Or do they simply take the money in to their banking or other business and hope to make enough profit to pay off the notes and have money left over?]]>
