The Case for Jamba Juice

This talk about slow service being a reason the stock is in the tank is absurd. You don't see evaluations of Starbucks with some petulant whining that it took 7 minutes to get a latte so the company is going down the tubes....

I was in and out of this stock in the 3s and took a small loss. Management has no plan to address the real problems....over zealous expansion into a market that is in the middle of the worst housing bust in ages and expanding competition. Until management has a plan for that and doesn't get surprised by a $200something million dollar charge again, I'll pass.

Jamba Juice: If You Build It, Will They Come?

I agree. Given a large portion of their stores are in California, where the subprime mess is hitting hard, it's a tough call. I own a few hundred shares I got below $3 and will just wait and see what happens.

Jamba Juice: The Worst Already Factored In

Look, this isn't going to be a short term story. If anything, in the next 12 to 18 months, we'll see comps get better and some revenue from their recent licensing deal with Nestle. Until then, I'll get a smoothie and add some vodka in there to make me forget how much of this junk I own.
