Inflation or Deflation? Invest in Gold

A few months ago I gave you my selection of a gold stock, Kingsgate Consolidated, KCN on the ASX. They produce gold for $US288 an ounce at present. They will announce shortly if they are going to double production. They just paid a 15 cent dividend, fully franked for lucky Australians. You would be laughing all the way to the bank if you had followed my advice because the shares have roared up and continue to do so.

Invest in Gold Miners, Silver Miners, or Both?

In this incredibly dangerous and uncertain environment, I think it is essential to have some exposure to gold and the best way to do that is to find a really good junior miner. The big miners are mostly hugely overvalued. I have recently made a big investment in a junior miner called "Kingsgate" so I am biased. But I think it is a fantastic stock with huge potential.
