  • What Now After A Miserable Monday? [View article]
I took everything out today, after I sold everything off, the market still went down. This is nightmare, no one can win in this market. Especially for the people who got full time job that don't have a lot of time to watch stock everyday.

Though my job as an analyst, I watch and monitor my stocks everyday, I concluded I can't win in the current market. All of stocks I bought last year went up, all of stocks I bought this year all went down. Ford, AT&T, Verizon, etc doesn't matter what you have. It's doomed.

Get out now while you can, otherwise you will see your fund will be cut in half

  • Want To Buy Chevron At 4%? Be Ready [View article]
I have read CVX likies for about half an year here and it never went up since, upped a bit then crashed big time today. Buy XOM, be conservative, CVX is horrible stock to own. I'll start selling my S&P 500 ETFs and the likes because of these CVX and AMZN and the likes - losers ruining my total return.

  • Dip Buying Riskier Now Than In 2013 [View article]
When it goes RS about 1,800, I'll be selling S&P 500 and other ETFs. It's time to play conservatively with only big names and ditch indexes, small-mid caps. Also I might start shorting S&P 500

  • Bubble Or Not, U.S. Stocks Are Priced To Deliver Dismal Long-Term Returns [View article]
This is probably the most idiotic stuff I saw in recent months. Go take a look at 10 yrs performance of S&P 500. or 5 yrs, or 3 yrs, or even a 1 year, except YTD.

US stock markets are the safest and the most non-volatile stock markets all over the world. If you haven't played in other countries stock market like Asian, go and experience yourself. Then you'd know what I am telling you.

US stock market is the most consistent, non-volatile, and profitable market in the world.

  • Getting Comfortable With Market Volatility [View article]
I have been here about 3 months. There are not much to learn from Seeking Alpha articles at all. Most of them are just clueless as us where the market will move, they just write stuff to justify their own positions and make themselves feel comfortable

  • Want Alpha? Sell Starbucks, Buy Quicksilver Resources Inc. Part 2 [View article]
Comparing natural gas company with coffee company LOL

I'll take SBUX anyday than some natural resources company, that I never heard of

Remember the highest volatile ones are always resource companies. Sinking 10% a day with bad news is pretty common with those resource companies - especially if they are small - mid cap I know because I've been there

$SBUX is not for day trader, it's long term investment. It's down now because the market is down. Everything's down, what do you expect?

  • At the close [View news story]
You not worthy doing stock investment panicking over some loss. You lose some, win some. It's good for me that all the amateurs fear and flee away, that will give me opportunity for better entry. I've got 4 more stocks in my radar now. Bought 4 last and this week.

  • Best Buy's Dip Is A Great Opportunity [View article]
The today's movement is just technical. Anyone say it's rebound or re-direction by today's rise, he gotta be a newbie in investing stockmarket. I agree with the below incerpt:

"The cracks are now appearing and we're about to see that J.C. Penney and Best Buy were only the first signs of the worsening retail landscape."

I am totally in line with it. I am not making another mistake again after JCP. I am very much in doubt of the company's stock and its ability with the drop of 30% in just 1 day. This is not just a dip, It's a CRASH that will take long time to fix. No BBY for me, it will take as long as itakes for JCP to turn around

    Don't aboard on burning ship

  • Don't Assassinate Your Small Investor Advantage [View article]
Not really, I started small caps but am doing a lot better with large caps now. Has nothing to do with financial knowledge or technique, but the amount of information available for large caps make investment a lot safer.

Go for the long term with biggies if you want to survive longer
