    I looked at a yahoo finance 5 year chart of SPYU, TMV & SPY. SPY is up @ 100%. SPYU & TMV are down less than 70%. When the market tanks this strategy will get killed. Are am I missing something?

    At 4% return it takes 25 years to get your money back. If you are retired you may be better off withdrawing capital for a year or 2. When the market corrects as it always does, then those same stocks will be yielding 8% or more with less risk to capital.
