srajan - With all due respect, I am well aware of what Wellpoint premiums are and I see what they reimburse my doctor. I also have been inside their corporate headquarters for many years, and like others there, was enraptured by mgmt when WLP kept making profits hand over fist. But some mgmt was very cruel, and I saw employees had to take "mental" health leaves due to the games mgmt plays with peoples lives. There's nothing worse than a company that abuses not only their employees but also their customers. THAT is why I wish they rot....
I am sorry if you had stock and have taken losses...but you have known Healthcare was making huge profits from 2000 to 2005 while premiums were increasing like robbery. The Healthcare premiums became a bubble, and like housing, have to come down so people can afford them.

Yeah well, it's time they got their comeuppance. They've been gouging the poor families/children, not to mention the doctors and hospitals by paying so low or hardly paying for anything, yet charging ridiculous prices for premiums. They've been giving the big execs huge salaries and bonuses, while working their admin to a nervous breakdown for low pay. They OWE the premium payers and the doctors and hospitals billions for their role in charging unethical profit margins. They caused the current doctor shortage in America because who would want to be a doctor today, can't even make a decent wage compared to the risk, and don't forget the "hassle factor" of the insurance companies. They are going down because the typical American has had enough...May they all rot......
