Fears of Inflation Seem Overblown

I think prices in some domains are likely to go up. Insurers with market power are likely to increase prices. As well, banks are likely to raise costs of fees, if simply due to market consolidations (thank you FDIC). The costs of Federal government "services" (fees on patents and FDA fees) are likely to go up because these are perceived by Congress as relatively invisible to the consumer (read higher health insurance costs and lower wage increases).

The interested person can construct the list a little further. It all depends on monopoly and market control. And that is not going away -- monopoly power in utilities, construction, government contracting, financial services, banking, are all increasing.
