Bear Stearns Share Price - It's Not Speculators

I think the whole deal is a sham.The shareholders are not going to approve the $2 deal easily.JPM knows that and so does the CEO of BSC.But ,if JPM had given a higher quote for BSC ,then it risked a huge drop in its own market value as its shares would come tumbling down for sticking its neck out.So it gave out a ridiculously low deal-people would love the value JPM got BSC for and push the market value of JPM up.BSC couldn't care as its shareholders would drag this to a point when it was more favorable to them.And the fed would like it as well since its playing the technical analysis game.Everybody's happy and we get suckered in.I say tread carefully.Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Deflation just because of a drop in housing prices.But , I don't plan on buying a house everyday and even if I did want to,I probably will find it tough to finance it.No, what I'm paying for everymonth-gas bills,gas,electricity bills,grocery bills....People who're talking of deflation forget to look beneath the numbers.

a newb comment:as the value of the yen against the dollar goes,japanese exports to usa can only become more expensive.so,thats bad for japanese companies and their stocks.you can only see a bottom in hindsight,not predict it. i would wait for the yen to become cheaper before longing jap stocks.meanwhile,who wantsto long the yen?
