  • A Sears Holding REIT: It Could Actually Work [View article]
Seritage is still part of Sears Holdings. I would think that the valuable properties would be with Seritage for redeveloping. Spinning them off to a Reit leaves Seritage with nothing valuable.

    Is this correct ?

  • Is Halliburton A Good Buy Over Schlumberger? [View article]

If one leaves, the other is not likely to be far behind.

I would say Hal will stay and dominate the market. Hense, more profit.

  • Sears Holdings: Examining A Possible REIT Spin-Off [View article]

The news came from SHLD corporate and it is not a rumor and more of misinforming and misleading shareholders if it is illegal to form.

Why haven't others noticed this when it was announced like CNBC and other news sources if illegal.

How can they form a REIT when Eddie and Berkowitz own over 10% each of the company.

  • Update: Sprint Q2 2014 Earnings [View article]
Especially with synergies from M Son's other holdings which include Alibaba where he is a major shareholder.

If this happens he will acquire many more shares of $BABA in the transaction. M Son, Jack Ma and Alibaba backing up Sprint looks very good.

    M Son is very smart.

  • Update: Sprint Q2 2014 Earnings [View article]

Yes, indeed, the Tmus merger should of been allowed but now other mergers and ventures will take place with Sprint. Especially with M Son's other holdings. He has many holdings that are public and private holdings. It would be nice to get Alibaba shares through my Sprint holdings.

This will be the catalyst to growth and profit.

He almost went into a bidding war for Sprint. Doesn't make much sense that he would do that depending on a merger that was most likely not to happen.

I just don't see him buying Sprint for a write down.

It appears if true, Alibaba will offer an all stock deal to purchase Sprint to shareholders. That will increase M Son's holdings in Alibaba significantly.

  • Update: Sprint Q2 2014 Earnings [View article]
In my opinion, M Son buying Sprint only for the assumption of a merger with Tmus would be stupid on his part.

He is in Sprint at around $8.00 a share and is a major shareholder of Alibaba too. The rumor is they are in talks for some thing.

We have to see if M Son was so smart to invest in Alibaba but so stupid to invest in Sprint.

  • Halliburton: Expect The 20% Dividend Growth To Continue [View article]
In my opinion, Hal will be in the $100's in 2015.
