  • Sears Holdings: The End Game [View article]
Doesn't it make more sense to own the REIT since the best properties will be held there and the redevelopment of the properties too.

  • AT&T Mobility chief: No worries if Sprint, T-Mobile unite [View news story]
richjoy I agree, they don't realize that he has his toes crossed as he's speaking.

The merger strategy is done and M Son is focusing only on Sprint.

Regulators screwed it up and especially to TMobile. DT wants to get rid of T Mobile but now no one wants it.

There will be three players after all in the end anyway - but not by merger though.

Berkowitz has been stroking that song for years he has no choice. Note how he says "we BELIEVE'' instead of saying "we KNOW".

  • Can Sprint Perform Magic? [View article]
You are correct that large investors stay shy of organizations that are controlled in such large proportion as Son with RS.

    RM

    You mean Sprint.

All your comments on why Sprint stock is at a low are all accurate and I agree. I would also say a major reason is that M Son owns 80% of the company and the large hedge funds and money managers do not like that control and can't or won't buy in.

    Long and Adding Sprint

    RM and chong,

I have a question for both of you.

We see the value of the spectrum as well as other positives, yet the stock let say it nicely, is undervalued still, why?

    Thanks

    ary,

In all due respect what you are saying is true and public information but the market for it's reasons doesn't buy it. You have to wonder why something so obvious does not affect the stock and give it a better value.

    I am long and adding.

Sprint, Alibaba, Google and Dish a nice foursome.

Although wireless is a large part of Sprint there will be many parts to this holding company.

I've noticed that the 'Shorts' love to remind us that Sprint has $32 billion in debt and love to promulgate that this debt will wipe Sprint off the face of the planet. What they don't understand is that according to Bloomberg and the recent spectrum auction Sprint spectrum assets (800MHz, 1900MHz and 2.5 GHz) are worth north of $100 Billion. - From aryan

Another important fact is on Sprint's books it's only carried and valued at around $40 Billion.
