  • 2009: Expecting a Massive Rally [View article]
I think that we are due for a HUGE rally. Stocks are EXTREMELY oversold. The housing bubble has been deflated. Housing prices are about back to normal. The US population is increasing by about 3 MILLION per year, and those people will need a place to live. A lot of corporations are actually debt-free and have cash for buybacks. The market has historically recovered long before the economy does. Unstable world? When has the world ever NOT been unstable? There is always some kind of conflict or war going on.

  • What Happened to Crocs? [View article]
CROX is down but not out. International sales are still growing like crazy, and CROX is just now tapping into the Chinese market. The PE ratio could easily expand 3-fold. The company has little debt and plenty of potential customers world-wide.

  • Nutrisystem Headed for a Turnaround [View article]
I agree with you Eric. NutriSystem is way OVERSOLD. I am astonished that there is a 66% short position on a stock this undervalued. I think that investors are concerned about the Sanofi-Aventis drug called Acomplia, but it got clobbered in a review by the FDA last June due to serious side-effects.

When FORTUNE magazine released its list of America's fastest-growing companies on September 4rth, 2007, guess what company topped the list? NutriSystem!! With 66% of the American population overweight, there is a HUGE market out there. And as you mentioned, NutriSystem is now rapidly expanding into foreign markets.
