"One of the best ways to do well in this business is to go to areas that have been unexploited by research capability and work them for all you can." -Julian Robertson Managing partner of the Schildpad & De Haas partnerships. I am a dividend investor and look for undervalued investments in the stock market. I identify misunderstood and undervalued equity investments and hold those securities until their price approximates my estimate of intrinsic value. I am a long-term investor only.
I am building a $100,000 high-yield income portfolio. I am running this portfolio as an experiment to see if long-term sustainable income can be generated from a diversified pool of high-risk, high-yield securities. I am willing to accept high risk in order to meet my performance goals.
I focus on writing about individual stocks, frequently in the financial industry. I work as a mid-level executive in the insurance industry on the portfolio management side. I'm an experienced stock investor, and I'm eager to share my industry expertise and what I've learned about investing with other Seeking Alpha users.

Fortunate enough to go through multiple bull (recovery post-Great Recession, tech bubble, pre-Great Recession boom, commodities boom) and bear markets (Great Recession, Asian currencies crisis, commodities bust) as a research analyst - primarily with global investment banks -. Consequently, I've seen enough that greed or fear is at the core of stock market/prices. Recently started to manage private funds with small seed money (everybody got to start small, right?). If you are interested in having me manage a fund or any fund management business-related opportunities, pls shoot email to email@example.com.

Hi, I am Ong Kang Wei, a Singaporean investor intrigued by the stock market and anything related to business, finance and economics. I love observing the stock market in my free time, and I especially favor dividend-paying aristocrats offering products/services people need such as P&G, Kinder Morgan, Wal-Mart, among many others. I also love high quality stocks or mispriced stock opportunities that will be able to reward shareholders. Of course, I can only come to such a conclusion through extensive fundamental research and analysis. I am still in the process of learning how to analyse stocks more perfectly, and I must say that I have learnt a lot so far on Seeking Alpha. People whom I admire include Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch, Charlie Munger, Philip Fisher and Benjamin Graham. I try to learn about these famous people and find out what made them successful. I also regard established people in the financial industry very highly, and always try to learn from them through their writing. This group of people would include Professor Aswath Damodaran, many of the other knowledgeable CFAs and also Seeking Alpha writers. Though I try my best to keep writing on Seeking Alpha, I may stop writing at times due to study obligations.
