  • Skype and Telecom Carrier Denial [View article]
    Jim Cicconi, AT&T's top public policy executive, says:

    "Skype is a competitor, just like Verizon (VZ) or Sprint (S) or T-Mobile," he says, adding, Skype "has no obligation to market AT&T services. Why should the reverse be true?"

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...
    What a whining company eBay and components are. The old adage comes to mind: Do as (what) I say, not as I DO.
  • RIMs Latest Apple Apps Won't Catch on Well: Here's Why [View article]
    Paypal is an ebay company, and ebay shares all your personal information with ALL its entities, most of which are outlying from the U.S. and therefore, you personal info is NOT protected by protections LAWS in this country!
    Added to this, you sign up with Paypal, and they take carte blanche and, it's in the rules, read for yourself, entitlles them to pretty much do what they want. Including freeze your account, and even BETTER, dip into your checking account if THAT's plugged in.
    Paypal 101: Do NOT plug your checking account into Paypal.
    Their protection claims are all onesided. Theirs.
    You decide.
    To all you ebay rah-rah-ers: Just because you can "get away with it, doesn't make it right". Sooner or later, a strong enough wind will blow through this house of cards, and it will tumble.
  • Is Netflix the Next Apple? [View article]
    Dude, some further cluelessness is showing. Ebay may have a healthy spreadsheet (for now is the caveat) but it comes from stepping all over the little guy once having used and abused him and then ruthlessly throwing said little guy to the curb.
    There's more to this dead horse story but I'm tired of beating it. To me, I am continually amazed at the ignorance that keeps coming to light.
    Even Wall Street gets it now
    You have GOT to be kidding me?! This shows abominable ignorance and uninformed poor research on the part of the author to a completely unacceptable level.
    eBay and Paypal are two of the WORST entities for trust levels and Paypal is notorious for getting hacked.
    I have been swamped with work and family situations but just could not let this pass!!!
    Unbelievable. Makes all other articles written suspect, indeed!
