Market was only slowly declining when our leaders panicked everyone by announcing a bailout. Government meddling collapsed the markets and is going to cost us $1.4 trillion in wasted taxes. That’s about as much tax revenue as the government pulls down in 1 year! Way to try to make a last statement, Bush. Holy cow, there are some morons in Washington and we are all stupider to think they are going to fix the problem. The Founding Fathers revolted to create a small government and less taxes – where did we go wrong?
The P/E is scary, especially if you look at the 5 year historical trend and it does look to be on the verge of doing something. However, future projections are impressive as is their potential phenomenal growth.
Speculators or not, they will keep coming back as long as their positive news fed to them and it looks like Potash may be able to provide it. We'll see.
