What I don't understand is how credit decline can be falling, tax receipts in states can be falling, yet spending remains flat? I would like someone to look into those numbers because they must be manipulated. It doesn't all seem to add up.
I have advocated baby boomers walking away from their credit cards. Apparently they are walking away in DROVES. It is nice to see that the younger folks who moved in with their parents, are clean credit wise, while their parents are sacrificing for them and for the good of the country. Anything that hurts the biggest banks is good for the country.

I want to add that people can even be thrown into jail for not paying medical bills. So they need to default on credit cards instead because you can't be thrown into jail for credit card default.

Unfortunately, the plans are for middle class people without insurance to be forced to pay more than they would pay for car payments. But no one can afford cars, so how can they pay for this? And what does that mean for the strength of the consumer? I honestly think Baucus and the planners are out of their fricken minds right now.
