  • Microsoft Is Too Expensive For This Moment In Time [View article]
I think that the short sellers are trying to start a movement.
Ignore the critics, believe in MSFT, the giant is just starting to wake up.

In other words, you think that "Surface" does nothing with ease?!

  • Microsoft Dying? I Don't Think So [View article]
    This article is encouraging, thanks.
As an aside, I really hate the Surface ad with the synchronized dancing on tabletops etc. It's just plain silly and does not send a positive message. The message should be about all of the great things the Surface can do with ease, something informative and witty. Microsoft needs to get a better ad agency, not dump Steve B.

  • The business versions of Office 365 (MSFT) are officially out. Prices range from $20/user/month for Enterprise & Government version to $12.50/user/month for the Small Business Premium version. An InfoWorld review praises 365's feature set, admin tools, and ease of use, while granting "there's still plenty of room for improvement." With its latest Office refresh, Microsoft has gone out of its way to encourage a mass migration to subscription services, as it tries to keep Google Apps at bay. (previous: I, II[View news story]

  • Microsoft (MSFT) is taking shots at Google over the search giant's lack of support for Windows Phone. In a blog post, a legal exec accuses Google of preventing Microsoft's WP YouTube app from supporting features found on Android/iOS YouTube apps. Separately, Microsoft says it's"surprised and disappointed" by Google's decision to end support for the Exchange ActiveSync protocol, used to provide push e-mail support  for Gmail on WP devices, for new hardware. Is Google trying to thwart the adoption of a rival OS that uses Bing as its default search engine? (previous[View news story]
    I say good, go MS!
After all, where is the consumer in all of this?
Everyone knows that google is biased and as a consumer, I will choose the search engine that gives me the most/best information in a fair, unbiased format.

  • More signs of tighter ties between Microsoft (MSFT) and HTC as the Taiwanese device maker is reportedly planning 12-inch and 7-inch tablets based on the Windows RT OS. HTC was ruled out as an initial partner in Microsoft's tightly controlled selection process, and said it was getting out of U.S. tablets a couple of months ago amid market-share struggles against the iPad, Google's Nexus 7 and Amazon's Kindle Fire. [View news story]

  • Nokia's Revival: The Ship Has Sailed [View article]
The best part of SA articles are the comments that are generated.
I find that the comments add insight to the actual articles which I find oftentimes biased and slanted.
    THANK YOU, commentators.

  • Microsoft: Excessive Pessimism Presenting An Opportunity? [View article]
Microsoft should do their stockholders a favor and thank them for their patience by giving a special dividend, by the end of the year would be nice. All sorts of people would take notice and with luck would buy more Microsoft stock and pay more attention to their products. Goodness knows Microsoft has the cash to do so.

  • Nokia: A $3 Bargain On Mobile Phone Hyper Growth [View article]
In my opinion people are more adventurous than you think and are always looking for something new and improved.
Nokia and Microsoft are not novices and seem to have a handle on what the public wants, likes and can accept.
Give the customer the benefit of the doubt and you'll probably be amazed.
