I agree there are bigger fish to fry - and this matter should handled by Obama's team - not him. I think they're going to deduct the bonuses from the next payment to them, so it's done (should be). It's just finger pointing at this point - not very impressive.

Clueless: Look at the low market share (#3 and higher) players in department stores, sporting goods, and highly leveraged supermarkets. If you're not in the lead pack you better have a strong niche.

Can you imagine if Paulson got his plan though two weeks ago? My head is still spinning and I'm just now starting to get it. We've rescued AIG, the banks are buying each other - it's now "illiquidity" we're bailing out. I guess I see why there's strong sentiment against this bill - we're bailing out bad decisions by consumers and lenders. Nice job Markham.
If coffee is a commodidty for 95, 85 or even 50% of us, then Starbucks is in a niche market with still way too many stores. Personally, McDonalds has won me over for fast food - but I remain a coffee snob and prefer my bold coffee from Starbucks -home brew or from the store.
