  • Apple: iPad Pro Won't Be A Surface Pro Killer [View article]
What the author is trying to say is that the surface tablet/laptops with a full x86os running intel chips, the is no need for apps since it can just download any program directly from its source, unlike the arm based chips which is force to take in apps only. apps where created mainly to optimized a less powerful and limited chip incapable of receiving most program downloads, like phone and tablet browsers.

  • Surface 3 Has MacBook Air In Its Crosshairs [View article]
Besides all the advantages of the surface software and hardware is the fact that it can actually seat on virtually any surface be a pillow, window sill, or any other small space. I happen to work long hours, so after work I always bring my surface pro home to do work on bed. Just as I'm doing right now before I head to the office, I'm on bed , with my surface seating perfectly on my pillow, checking things out and writing this comment. From bed, I'll be listening to internet radios while I get ready, then to the office i duck it and plug my 24" monitor. It really is an all-in-one device. This device has totally redefine 'productivity, I'm totally addicted to it.

  • Microsoft: How Long Is It Going To Reach New Highs? [View article]
Slightly over bought at $40.00 from $38.00 due to 'the initial excitement' but great buy at 39.00 according to some historical 'relative strength index'? Seems a little fuzzy to me.

  • Nokia Sends A Message To Microsoft [View article]
Funny how the so called 'Android' phones are referred to as google OS, when in fact it is nothing more than an Linux free source OS with mostly crucial patents from MS witch has enable it to become the capable OS it now is. The only software co. who receives direct payments for android is MS, google gets money from apps and services. Having said that, if Android has an owner, it is Microsoft!
So, instead of MS 'giving' billions to Nokia to produce a wp they know it's not going to work, why not make a microsoft/android phone and enjoy the best of both worlds? I personally believe that mr. Nadella is smart enough to see that obvious move, I certainly hope so.

  • Microsoft: Cheap And Changing For The Better [View article]
Windows 8 is nothing less than W7 optimized for speed and security, in addition, it contains an optimized mode designed for touch called "metro", which users have the choice to use in either a tablet or regular pc desktop mode. I found my W8 as the must advanced OS anywhere. Unfortunately, many apple investors are getting frustrated witnessing their own products losing their mojo and are looking for a scapegoat.

  • Microsoft reportedly paying OEMs $2.6B in 2014 to make Windows Phones [View news story]
Imagine how much better they'll be if that money goes to fix their faulty software and make their own phones as they do with the 'surface'. There is a reason why OEM don't want to make their WP, but will they listen?

  • Microsoft A No-Brainer Investment [View article]
Agreed, great potential for a company who's potential has been held back by a stubborn, blinded leadership. Hopefully, this leadership has finally realized what's been missing and will find the right successor that can help MS show the right way. The money, expertise, support are there for a brainer to bring forward the missing piece. His name? Satya Nadella a modern hungry B. Gates.

  • Microsoft: Promise Has Become A Problem [View article]
Either way most manager would be salivating to get such a job, especially when performance seems to go unnoticed and get extra comfort and help from top directors?

And besides, with the reputation of S. Ballmer, how hard is it to find someone as good (or bad) that will end up with tens of billions in such short amount of time? Heck, I could probably do as good a job, and willing it do it for less than one percent.
