I agree that Wal-Mart is the place to be in the next few months or years. I've owned it since 1981 and never did let the Wall Street bunch get me down enough to sell. I shall continue to hold and buy more. These are the same people that were negative on the IPO Mastercard which I also bought at $49 per share. Remember I am just a poor, humble, country boy without a degree.RoudMan

I wondered why everyone has been praising Target and their catering to the $50k customer. Well what do you know looks like us common folks are going to Wal-Mart after all and I make more than $75k.Look at all the money these execs get for making STUPID decisions. RoudMan
Hey Todd, My children were both girls but I would gladly adopt you since you and I totally agree about Wal-Mart. All the EX-PERT analyst and bloggers were wrong but you and I were right all the time. RoudMan

Cut it any way you want Wal-Mart has been a blessing for us low income people. I will stand by Wal-Mart as long as they continue to offer the lowest prices overall in every area of the store. I dare any of the EX-Pert to challenge this poor country boy on a fair playing field. RoudMan
I appreciate Dr. Mark's artice. Any way you cut it WMT does it better overall I think since I've owned it since 1981. It has made me a "ton" of money over the years with DRI and stock splits. I will "stay the course"as John Bogle of Vanguard says. Dr. Mark, a Phd, fair and balanced. How about that! RoudMan
Wal-Mart's Guidance: Up, And Get Used To It [View article]
I appreciate this article on WMT since I've owned it since 1981. I have always felt they will meet the challenges ahead as they have since 1981. I am very long on it also. Its time to give them credit for saving us money even though I can afford to shop anywhere I want to. I made my money by saving money and WMT helped me do it and still does. RoudMan

Well let me say that regardless of what you think of WMT they are here to stay as long as they continue to find ways to help my family save money on every day items we buy. None of us are perfect."Ye who are without sin cast the first stone" is my answer.

I usually say this about Wal-Mart, since I've owned their stock since 1981, as follows; All these problems that WMT has had seem to lie directly with Rob Walton and Lee Scott. If WMT should "fall back" again as mentioned will be their fault since they are the top dogs.
